    Watching Indian cricket youtube channels, which are too serious either celebrating India's success or looming over failure, Club prairie fire is a relief. It is lighter, funnier and honest show. May be that's why this channel is liked by many including me.

      Because Gilchrist and Vaughan have been players themselves. They have seen the ups and downs in their time.
      On the other hand, Indian TH-camrs are just a bunch of “so called” journalists who have nothing else to show for their achievements. Criticising Indian players earns them views and that is their 2 minutes to fame.

    Australia deserved the win as they have been one step ahead for the last two games. India had to play their natural game instead of getting bogged down and let the pressure of survival get to them. In a series of fine margins, it could be argued that Australia's run accumulation on day 2 (after being 311/6) and their last wicket partnership in the second innings resulted in being the difference between the two sides. Jaiswal and Bumrah were outstanding in both innings.

    As gilly had mentioned that things do get even out with umpires call in favor of jaiswal and snicko faulting , I want to refer to the very clear ultra ultra HD camera angle showing deflection . Where the hell was that in the first innings at perth with KL rahul where they went with snicko despite visuals being different and fox showed a typical “Warm up game” camera angle for that…Just wanted to add this on

    • @siddharthanand9033
      @siddharthanand9033 12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@bencrabtree5647 bro it’s about consistency in making decision when you are using technology. The camera angles and snicko in this series has been awful . They should be using ultra edge instead of snicko. It’s baffling that no Australian is able to understand this bit.
      No one in the Australian media has flagged this issue, if the same would have happened in India they would called BCCI as manipulators. This reflect the hypocrisy of the Australian media.
      I do agree that Jaiswal was out but the same Australian players said in the first match that snicko showed a spike so it’s out. Snicko is just an instrument to detect sound. To confirm the source of the sound split screen of bat away from pad and nearer to bat along with spike on Snicko is required. The Australian team is fully aware of this but they won’t call it out in public. Hypocrisy at its peak and these guys act as if they have the highest moral values.

      @robynmitchell9563 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@siddharthanand9033the cost of hot spot is $10,000+ a day x 25. ICC wanted the broadcasters to pay for it, so it's not in use this series. Australians understand this, but perhaps you don't understand that the third umpire makes the decision, not the Australian team. Just as the third umpire - despite ball tracking showing the lbw ball hit Jaiswal's stump when he was 31 - made the decision, not the Indian team. Australians understand that the Indian fans are desperate to blame anyone for their team losing. Again.

      i saw the replays again carefully, having screenshots in some windows and replay in another etc., i think it was out, basically there was some time between ultra edge spike and bat hitting pad, first the ball hit the bat and then bat brushed the pad, there was gap between pad and bat when the initial spike came on, later there was one more short burst of spikes which i think belongs to the bat later brushing the pad, its not conclusively but its out 99 percent.
      I had a doubt even when i first saw the replay during live time, but went with general consensus that it was not out, i don't understand why the front on views were not played parallelly during decision time, front on views were played after the dismissal happened, they gave a pretty much a better idea.

    Everyone collectively out of form for Team India. Zero application and unwilling to fight it out and defend, and tire out quicks like Pujara used to (Hazlewood even said it in The Test doc, and recently how he's happy Pujara isn't here) ..
    Pujara arguably was discarded too early along with Ishant, Umesh, Mayank A, Natarajan. Briefly tried grooming a Pujara- successor in Vihari but then promptly dropped him too..
    There are guys in Ranji who hit 200-300 and bat long... But not part of FC lobbies like Mumbai, Karnataka, Delhi or big IPL teams, so won't ever get picked as selectors don't scout or care much..
    Just looking at Ranji 2024-25 groups and plate games, there's 300s and 200s from Lomror (300), Sai Sudharsan, Patidar, Khajuria, Pujara, Shreyas Iyer, Mhatre, Kalsi, V. Iyer, Badoni, Khare, Shaik, M. Kaushik, S. Lad, Agni Chopra, C. Bist (304), Kauthankar (314, 250), Bakhale (300), Thapa, Nischal

    35.00 gilly's narrative about jaiswal escaping umpires call doesn't suit the narrative because Australia have been most lucky with umpires call this series
    1. steve Smith getting benefit of umpires call in both gabba and mcg going on to make a century
    2. Marnus 2nd innings trapped of bumrah umpires call came to his rescue.
    So if those decisions went on india's favour we would be discussing something else on this table.

    Biggest rivalry is not a matter of opinion. Those have to be plain numbers.
    Is it eye balls, is it live views, total views, money generated, attendance?
    None include opinions, biased at that.
    If it just online search numbers, an inconsequential Ind vs Wi was bigger than the biggest Ashes 2023.
    Clearly those numbers will be skewed towards any Indian game. Not sure how with a small population, Eng and Aus can ever compete those numbers.
    Now, it has to be how much money they generate with their limited audience base. All three boards make similar amounts on their domestic broadcasting if I am not wrong.
    *BCCI sells IPL separately.

    How can u call it a rivalry when only one team id winning it for the past decade.. Aussies behave as if india are the only ones to beat them at home in the past 20 years or so🤭 England beat them in 2011..south Africa beat them two times. Recently, West indies drew a series there.. India on the other hand can't claim anything other than winning in Australia .. They were humbled everywhere else even in the so called great touring era of India under kohli😏

      It's amazing how much Indians continuously miss the point on this.
      Nobody in England is denying that India have been a better and more successful test team than us over the last decade lol. But that doesn't mean the Ashes suddenly gets usurped as a rivalry.
      The reality is that if we played you in a World Cup final tomorrow, everyone in Australia would want you to win and England to lose. This literally proves that the Ashes is still the greater rivalry. The BGT might be a more interesting/intriguing series, but there is a difference between a series and a rivalry.
      The BGT is also conditional. It's only big because you are currently the two best teams, whereas the Ashes would still be a massive deal to both countries even if we were the two worst teams in test cricket.
