Bumrah is the GOAT. Destroyed us. Lucky to have watched him live in Perth!!

For me as an Indian.. Mitchell Johnson got 37 in 9 innings against Eng in the Ashes at 13. Being an Indian I was really surprised even ESPNcricinfo and Star Sports missed it and showed so many names that had poorer stats just to show Bumrah up there.
I feel like cricket has one of the worst digital analytics teams amongst all sports honestly.

In my view ,Bumrah is as good as any great bowler from the 70s,80s or 90s.
Very Skillful ,Intelligent ,accurate and hits a brilliant 5m length and seams the ball ,both ways. ,and he will test the batters defensive skills.

Bumrah could possibly be the greatest ever sport man if he can carry on with his game for a number of more years. Bumrah plays his sport with a burden of a billion people worldwide with immense pressure unlike other sports people. Right now it's not an argument.

@@playfultrembler BUMRAH took 32 in literally 7.5 innings.. he missed 1.5 innings in last test and I second test 2nd innings only got 1 over... His wickets were mostly top 6 batters too...
As usually just being indian doesn't matter because u want some browny points.. BUMRAH has 19.4 avg so it's just not this series only... He could have got 40 wickets easily... Sydney pitch was the most favourable to pacers out of 5 pitches...

    Ratings
    India
Rohit - 1. (He should have dropped himself in Melbourne itself, that would have serve the purpose in much better way for which he dropped himself)
    KL Rahul - 5
    Jaiswal - 8
    Gill - 2
    Virat - 3
    Rishabh - 6
Washington - 0 ( I don't know what this guy was doing in entire series. To me it seems he was just there to take revenge for Ashwin forced retirement).
    Reddy - 6
Jadeja - 1 (He has been given so many chances over Ashwin, but never seen him to win a match for India this series).
    Siraj - 7
Prasidh - 7 (Considering just ONE match, he did fairly ok job)
    Harshit Rana- 6
BUMRAH - 10 on 10 (It is such a pity that Bumrah could have won the Sydney match for India single handedly but fate was not with him)
Parting shots --- Rohit and Jadeja must retire immediately. Virat to follow if he doesn't play domestic and only wants to join important series and put India in a nervous situation again and again. Definitely none of them should be selected for England Test Series in June, They have had enough enough chances to play for India.
    Australia
    Khawaja - 2
    Sweeney - 3
    Labuschagne - 4
    Smith - 7
    Head - 9
    Marsh - 2
    Alex Carrey- 6
    Starc - 8
    Hazzlewood - 4
    Boland - 9
Pat Cummins - 10 on 10 (Mastermind captain, good contribution with bat many times, and bowled well whenever team needed him)
Parting shots --- Khawaja should retire, Definitely not to be taken in next year Ashes. Marsh place is also very uncertain for Ashes.

And Sundar played with the tail mostly and sticked around a bit, rating him 5 is a bit let down and he didn't get a chance to bowl at all

Using your no8 as a pure batsman was a pathetic team selection. I felt he does not know how to bat with tail. He gave all 6 balls to bowler to bat many times. It cost us match at MCG and also at SCG

Thought the rating for Usi was very generous but when Gilly and Vaughy say you're 5/10, it does paint a picture. It was obviously hard but there wasn't enough from Usman to try and negate the bowling. Bumrah is a great, no doubt but believe me .... others have done even better here with flatter Aussie pitches and less seam on the ball. *Cough* Richard Hadlee ... 33 wickets @ 12 avg - in three tests. Steve Smith ... 7 dropped catches... max 6.5/10.

Shubhman Gill definitely frustrates, has all the talent but is wasting it by not getting those big scores.
He has got too much focus on being an all-format player. If he just focuses more on TEST cricket, he can turn out to be the best in it.
I can see those T20 desires when he's batting. That's probably on thing that's hurting him the most.

Everyone has the right to have an opinion and Bumrah was the best in the series. He had many magical spells in this series.
The brilliance of Bumrah clearly shows in the fact that whenever he is brought to take wickets ,he takes them.
And if he is called greatest sportsman by the pod ,why is everyone having a problem with that? And accusing them with clickbait
If they really wanted views they wouldn't have predicted 3-1 result beforehand
