I have a 2007 Sig L and the ride is the smoothest riding car i have ever owned. You are right Sir, when i pull up in my driveway i am half asleep from the ride comfort and don’t want to exit the vehicle. 👍🤣🤣🤣

@@johnpezzullo9644 Nice! I’ve always felt like there aren’t enough Town Cars driving around. In the wintertime with the heat cranked - it’s definitely hard to get out of these cars.

For me it’s the driving experience. So smooth it’s ridiculous. Mostly been a truck guy and still am but love cruising in my 04 marquis. The marauder is a money pit but can’t stop now.

@@canadianmarauder1923 Yes, the smoothness is something we truly don’t appreciate it enough especially considering most guys want to give these cars more speed. I would LOVE a Marauder.

My 03 MGM probably has a few more years of all season driving before the frame rust becomes critical. Probably gonna weld up metal next spring to buy time

Not a collector, but my input from the days I rented the long wheelbase taxis out: with the body on frame design, the steering is just not gonna be so tight, both a positive and negative as the suspension is really good for all the bumps, but going at speeds over 35 mph, some panthers could have hidden frame damage from a past accident, and could be covered up easily with minor body work, but the overall wheel alignment, ent issues could still remain. Very true on the engines, even when brand new, they sound beautiful, but aren’t really going as fast as it sounds like they are. But also transmissions might be a whole lot more robust and geared more for longevity and easy to service i assume (newer Camry is a bit of a nightmare with that) the rear wheel drive seems mustang like in that the whole rear can slip right out from under you on just the thinnest layer of snow or rain, and those big tires aren’t cheap either. Perhaps the police interceptor models have a better limited slip rear.

@@Where2bub I agree. They do refer to these cars as “4-door Mustangs”. The suspension on these cars are solid but at the same time it’s one of the things that definitely need to be fixed on these cars especially when you first buy one.

4.6 2 valve is Ford's best V8 reliability wise. Performance wise it just doesn't cut it. My loyalty is with small block Chevy's. Better performance/bang for buck w/same reliability, would like to LS1 swap the blue 05 vic at some point. Although I'll probably end up buying a 94-96 Impala SS before then lol.
