I was in a lake yesterday standing up In my same kayak casting and it was very stable. I was impressed. And on top of that the seat in insanely comfortable to just chill in all day haha
Hey guys wondering, it is very difficult to stand in this kayak and fish while feeling comfortable. I fished in this kayak all day today and the high seat setting was fine. I pulled in three bass today (the lake I’m at is very slow). Standing is doable and is nice I can stretch my legs in it for sure but I’m 6’1” 180lbs and it rocks quite a bit. It has a styrofoam piece in the hull but you can fit rods in by putting them to the side of the styrofoam. It has good storage space and it tracks well enough for Texas Bass throwing. I recommend this kayak for sure though 7.5/10, great starter. Cheers!
its a great deal for a kayak all around . its almost 12 feet . not the most stable but definitely stable enough to stand. they have a nice stand assist strap i would use that made it easy to get up and down . Gear tracks for add ons . Lots of Dry storage. and a wide open deck all for under $500. hard to beat for the price
Kayak Bassaholic It is a great kayak I love it but it isn’t a very good standing and fishing platform. Other than that it’s petty unbeatable for the price. You don’t need to stand to fish I fished for around 7 hours and stood and casted 2-3 times still had a blast and caught bass.
Really enjoyed taking this kayak out twice this past weekend. Very stable and the seat is super comfortable. My other kayak has cheap seat and my ass gets numb after 10 minutes and I have to constantly adjust my position. Will be upgrading that seat soon.
im about 220 - 6.3 its more stable then the regular teton but does take some practice . I keep my feet far apart - the outside of my foot is usually pressed up against the gunnel walls . i find this is the most stable way for me to stand on it & and i also use the stand assist strasp
yes , in the Midwest there is another Big Retailer called "Blains Farm n Fleet" also selling the Kayak . at the moment Wal-mart, Sams club , & Blains farm n fleet are the only stores ive seen selling this kayak.
Hello kayak bassaholic how's it going. I like your kayak man. I like the colors , the clothes and Crocs match the kayak. I love that that's awesome man. I am a fan of Crocs. I have the beach kind. I had to cut the end out at the toe box on each Crocs so two of my toes can hang out of the Crocs to fit them on my feet. If I did not cut them out they would hurt and Crush my feet. I have very very big wide feet. Sz13 4 EEEE WITH FAT WIDE TOE. I do not know why I have very very wide feet . I'm built like you I'm 6'2 265Ibs. It's funny seeing two of my toes hanging out of each Crocs but they are so comfortable. My five son , friends , and boss called me ( wide foot Bandit ) when I wear my flip-flops it don't look too bad although both of my pinky toes are off the footbed. That's how wide my feet are. Just wondering what size are your Crocs. You take it easy sir and a great video you did. Keep up the good work buddy.

How do you think the yak would do loded with about 60 pounds of gear? Would it still be stable?
Great video!
Thank you!
How much do you weigh? And do you feel 100% stable while standing thanks man. I want to upgrade my teton 10foot for a good stand up one

@@kayakbassaholic4545 thanks for this. I weight 240 and have a Teton 10ft and it’s really stable sitting but standing is a no-go
Did you have to register this at all?
no, as long as i don't put a motor on it i do not have to register it
Did u have kayak plugs in when u stand up? Im same height and weight as u. Dnt have kayak plugs tho. Was wondering about that standing up. Lol
i did , i tried to keep the inside of the boat as dry as i could. i think you would be able to stand still without scupper plugs .
Thanks man keep the vids coming
@@liiingobankzz7326 np bud, i bought the plugs on Amazon. just search "Scupper Plugs" on amazon and you will see the blue ones i bought
Will rods fit in the hull of the Yukon?
yes , i have fit 3 rods inside the hull. it gives you access all the way to back under your seat . TONS of space
Is this only at Sam's club
