If you think My b-roll music sucks it’s because it does. I had to remove and replace the song post-edit with a crappy TH-cam song because of a copyright issue.
Great review. You stayed on topic and explained it really good. I got the tamrack pro 10.3. The weight of the Yak played a huge hand in why. The pro is 57lbs as yours is 77lbs. Im 70 and although im lovin my Yak kinda wish i got the 11,6 now instead. Paddle on
I love my Yukon. I added a trolling motor and a batch of other modifications. I've got a walk through and sea trial on my channel. Enjoy the heck out of that kayak!
Man you have the most decked out Yukon I’ve ever seen. The whole set up is sick. It’s even better that you 3d printed and fabricated a lot of it yourself. How much would you say you’ve spent on everything? How’d she run this season?
Thanks for the great review. I am hoping to pick one up soon. Question for you: What kind and length of straps did you use? How you had it tied down looked pretty quick and easy. I was hoping to haul mine in a similar way in my F150. Thanks!
I just bought one today for just under $600 like you said and I love it!! I just want something that'll get me on the water instead of trying to fish from shore. Awesome video 🤘🤘
Just looked at one I was looking at a pelican power or a pelican catch but damn you can't beat it from the money though...... And it even has a wheel to drag it....
I had a Flint. It paddled like a barge. granted i am only 135 pounds. I no longer have the Flint. I have a 17 ft canoe and a 14 ft plastic jon boat, (coleman crawdad knock off). I am in the market for a kayak. I live 15 minutes from Mogadore Res.
Thanks a lot for the vid! I'm trying to get in on the yak game and the amount of choices at each price range is daunting. Also, I'm a bigger dude myself(240) and I always wonder how stable any of these are
the teton pro and the yukon are the exact same kayak. the only difference is the name. and that's because the teton is exclusively sold at dicks. and they had lifetime change the name so they don't have to price match to other stores.
I just bought one and got it for 400 cause dicks had wrong tag on it. I’m 215 pounds and I put seat in back for daughter she’s prob 90 pounds. It’s a great kayak, for the money.

You are likely to get water in from the paddle holder holes, I put some silicone on all four holes to keep the water out in my yukon 116
Just copped one of these for 150 on fb marketplace. Can’t wait to take it out
Thanks for the video. I've been researching for months. I've got this one in green on order. Super excited!!! Thanks again
Where did you order? I only see blue

Okay, I'm convinced. Let's see how it handles the Fl rivers and lakes.

Awesome!!
I’m from Minnesota to planing to get this for my birthday
How’d you get a trolling motor on it ?
@@hihi-ze8mv Built a transom and wired up a battery. Too much detail to cover here but I did make videos.

I been thinking about petal powered kayaks costly my only concern is I'm 6.4 not sure if my legs will be to long
I have a teton pro I take her in the LI sound and local lakes its a beast!
Heck yeah!

It’s a great river boat too. Just had it out in some solid rapids
My dad's about 310 and water come in the scupper holes when he leaned real hard. I'm about 160 and water only comes in when I jump
How well does that fit in your truck bed?
How's it held up over the year?
im 6'1 265 would this kayak suit me well as far as comfortability goes?
You’re about the same size as me and it works well for me
I just picked up two of these. Very nice and solid. Well worth the price. Great review!
Can I fit a 70lb medium size dog in this thing?
I'm wondering the same thing!
I just picked one of these babies up. Just need some type of mount for the 4Runner gotta figure that out next
Did you ever figure it out
Now that same kayak runs you 700. I was lucky to get mine on sale at dunhams for 549. It was a $150 dollars off full price
Looks like a great find! And your sporting the @crocs!👍😉
If you ain’t Crock’n you ain’t Rock’n!

I looking to add a trolling motor to mine. Anyone have any idea on how tho do that?

You’d be fine in a boat around this size. Bigger is more stable but usually much slower unless you get a pedal drive.
@@5050fishing thanks! I'll keep that in mind
So whats the verdict now that you're had this a while? Was hoping for a follow up video 😊
Still like it. And it’s still holding up well
Is the Teton the same as the Yukon? What's the differences between them?
Same thing. They changed the name
It's not the same

Great Kayak for the price, just as good as a Oldtown
I think that Kayak has a 350 lb. Float Capacity
My only complaint is that it need a rear hatch
I just bought one and got it for 400 cause dicks had wrong tag on it. I’m 215 pounds and I put seat in back for daughter she’s prob 90 pounds. It’s a great kayak, for the money.
280
Just remember the kayak capacity includes the hull weight…leaving you with about 25lbs to play with safely
When has a capacity of a vessel ever included the hull weight?
Not gunna lie I'm kinda confused I didn't find ur channel till now. TH-cams got you hidden lmao.
They do and it’s frustrating lol
I seen that musky flair got on his channel like 2 years ago didn't show anything on ur channel
@@5050fishing pretty sure flair linked ur channel but that was like the first few fishing youtube vids I watched
You don't have your Jonny no more
"Great kayak" haven't taken it out yet.....
That was never said until after I took it out…
Does this make us kayak bros? 🥲
When I’m not in my Jon 😳
