Tvarish my dad spent 400$ trying to fix bank 1 and 2 too lean on our 2007 kia sedona and he cant find jt lol and emissions is tomorow oof Edit: after 2 months it was the fuel pump. It said too lean and too rich but now fixed. Also hate to be thus guy but tysm for 1 like
I don’t doubt my bros skills… Been following JD a while now, I’m happy he got out of the insurance game and is setting his path elsewhere. Can’t wait to see how sick this rebuild ends 🤟
I just LOVE Jacks reaction. He bought the car he wanted for a long time, and you can just see the happiness in his reactions! Good on you Jack! Cant wait to see the fix!
Evo owner here! I have a fully built apex silver 8 as well and can shine some light on a few things for you. The car appears to be on basic bolt ons, otherwise completely stock with a tune. It should be good for a solid 350 wheel as it sits but the car will probably need a proper tune for 93 and ethanol since it’s at sea level now. With how clean the motor seems you can easily get the car up to a reliable 550-600 wheel on stock block. The washer fluid tank sits in the trunk on the right hand side, everything is connected through the reservoir to spray the intercooler and front/rear glass. It was probably carelessly deleted when the intercooler was upgraded. I know you’ve been sourcing lancer parts so luckily things are cheap to replace to a certain extent, minus the driveline. Good luck and enjoy it!
I am a Evo x lover, and learning how to fix cars in highschool I wish to experiance something like this aswell its just so cool to see someone so happy on a car just starting. Keep the good work and hopefully you succeed in life man!
The Evos from that generation all came with an intercooler sprayer from the factory. Switch for it is right behind the shifter. Can’t wait to binge all these episodes. I had an 03 and it was the best car I ever owned. So much fun to drive in the snow!
Congrats man! Your reaction to the car probably shows how much you have worked to accomplished what u have and hencr give this whole project a new meaning for us viewers who are just starting to get to know u better as a protagonist now. I just subcribed to the channel and im very glad to see the amount of views this video has in just a couple of days. Only going up from here!
I love that you have come into the Tavarish channel and I can’t wait to see what your channel and this evo will become. I was stationed in California when the Evo was released in the US and knew 2 guys that bought them (1 yellow and 1 blue), they were the envy of our race nights. Thank you for not cutting out the unfiltered emotion and pure joy you show for this car. I look forward to the next video in the series!!
Seeing Jack happy makes me so happy! Haha can’t wait to see this car get the treatment it deserves! Keep up the great work Jack & wishing you the absolute best of luck with the car 🙂
I love to see Jack in the other videos. Now I have the time to watch the whole build. He is a really great and honest guy, and I love to see how Jack is able to show true emotions!
New to the channel (via Matt Armstrong) and the first of Jacks videos that I’ve watched. Love his genuine nature, energy and excitement, can’t wait for the next one.
Man, reminds me back in 2006 when i got the 9 MR… his face when it cranked reminded me of when i drove my off the dealerships floor… Thank you Tavarish for giving talented people a chance to shine from your channel. First it was Jared, now Jack
And a legend is born , so happy for you Jack this car gave you happy tears I know what that feels , And this going to be a heck of a journey , Good luck !!!!
Glad to see an evo get restored and not parted out. That is the intercooler sprayer. Evos with AYC had intercooler spray botyles on the driver side. Windshield wiper fluid can be found in the trunk passanger side. Evos can be converted to speed density on stock ecus, good luck!
So happy for you jack, you definitely deserve it mate, seeing you get emotional when it started was great! Cant wait to see this build come together! One new sub here! 👍
Been a fan of Freddies channel since the Gallardo build, let me say that this Evo got me hooked instantly. Sub done, with friends like Freddie and Mat, you’re bound to have great content. Happy wrenching Jack, looking fwd to the videos. Greets from Slovenia.🤜🏻🤛🏻
Found ya through your shirt you were wearing in Tavarish's latest Flooded Vid. Love your reaction at the very end! Excellent Find. Now I am off to watch the rest of the vids!
First car that brought me to tears seeing it in person: JZX100 Chaser Tourer-V. Second car to bring me to tears: my W220 S55 Kompressor. What a feeling. Enjoy the ride!
Came right from tavarish lol you guys are my favorite car channels since savage garage 🕊 cant wait to see what happens with the p1 keep up the crazy good work 🔥
Great choice Jack. I owned No.157 of the last 250 of the evo 8 MR FQ360 and parting with it is one of my biggest automotive regrets. Look forward to seeing you get her back to where she deserved to be. Keep hold of her 👌
the evo 789 was always my dream car and i bought an 8 about a decade ago. Jack, all i can say is from day 1 of ownership - all the maintenance, mods, driving it... it's been nothin' but a pleasure and i truly mean that! the only downside in my opinion to owning an evo, is its just made driving every other car out there so shit. lookin' fwd to the evo content and respect to u for keeping another evo alive! may your evo be a blessing n joy to u!
I’m rewatching the whole series in waits for the next banger video! I really dig your style and personality, definitely meant for big things with content creation 🤘🏼
Im not much of a comments guy but: I remember when i got my GC8 my dream car- the flood of emotions I got from just sitting in it was overwhelming. I can almost feel Jacks happiness through this clip. This is really a heartwarming and eye tearing moment for us car guys. Cant wait for more content!
Just a little polish, air in the tyres and washer fluid and you're golden 😋 I'm really gonna like this channel and can't wait for this project and many more to come. Good luck! 💪🏻
Hi Jack! New subscriber here! This video is pure happiness. And Tavarish is genuinely happy for you! I can’t wait to binge the rest of the EVO series. Road to SEMA baby!!
Glad i subscribed. Love watching how meticulous Jack is in Tavarish's shop with his cars and now to his channel with his own. Then to see Jacks face when he started it with the "new" coilpacks. That is the face of a petrolhead. Of someone feeling blessed by his opportunity to own his dream. I loved the phrase "perfect for him". Can't wait to see this come back to glory. Great times ahead!
The evo 8 in silver/grey is one of my most desired JDM cars and the fact that you have one and you're gonna make it run again is living my dream. Wish you the very best and I hope this leads to more builds on this channel.
Watching this and thoroughly enjoying. The shared happiness at the end, comradery very much present. I admire these cars. Will be watching this, build it for sure
Real, attainable car and Jack seems really happy to have it and work on it, can’t get better than that. This is what all TH-cam automotive content should be like. Can’t wait for the build!
Having watched the amazing work you all do, I can only imagine how perfect this build will become. Congrats Jack on step 1 of rebuilding your dream car (getting it and having it run). I am here for the journey with you and look forward to the progress and eventual outcome. You have the Mitsu Evo 8 now make it Jack's Evo 8.
This is gonna be NUTS!

I love how emotional he's getting you can tell it really is a dream car for him
This is why tavarish and hoovie are some of my favorite creators. They are always pushing their friends.
I agree and love that!
Better specify. Cause they can be pusshing them off a cliff.
Tavarish: Is that reasonable to fix?
Also Tavarish: I'm gonna buy a McLaren submarine!
exactly 😂😂
the mclaren is a 2million car, an old evo ain't
Stoked for this build dude. You're gonna kill it
Thanks bro, I appreciate that
I just LOVE Jacks reaction. He bought the car he wanted for a long time, and you can just see the happiness in his reactions! Good on you Jack! Cant wait to see the fix!

You guys seem like two friends having fun while getting it done. It is awesome and the result is really great when its so genuine.
The Evos from that generation all came with an intercooler sprayer from the factory. Switch for it is right behind the shifter.
Can’t wait to binge all these episodes. I had an 03 and it was the best car I ever owned. So much fun to drive in the snow!
Finally a rebuild from someone who has actual technical expertise and not just a tryhard mechanic you see often on youtube.
Congrats man! Your reaction to the car probably shows how much you have worked to accomplished what u have and hencr give this whole project a new meaning for us viewers who are just starting to get to know u better as a protagonist now. Absolutely fantastic video guys. Fair play, and there ain't anything wrong with showing a little emotion. Love from England
My dad has an 06 MR. Fastest car I've ever driven. I had a 240sx at the time. Driving Dad's car then going back to my car made me sad. I miss AWD.
