    The good old BS1363 plug (IEC type G), the safest type on the planet, even if it is a trifle over-engineered. Incidentally, it's a good idea to cut the earth lead a little longer as the plugs are deliberately designed that way so if the cable is pulled out, despite the cord grip, the earth is the last one to detach.

    Great video bro! What if the china plug only has 2 cables? Hence what 'part' should we leave blank if we're using a 3 point Malaysia socket?

      China 2pin plug inside have red and blue only. Leave neutral (green ) blank

      @@我还是天真的童子 No, leave the earth blank. If you leave the neutral blank it will not work.

    I know how to do this but the easiest is to just replace the IEC cord rather than just cutting the plug. Then the non local plug type can be a spare

    If at the China plug top stated 220v, what type of Malaysia plug top can we use? Is there any differences?

      As long as its same ampere rating then its fine, but be careful on the Live / Neutral connection ya

    How to identify the correct cable? Earth, live ?

    • @kraychong5889
      @kraychong5889  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Earth usually is Green Color, and Live is brown or red. But sometime the color might different.
      So be careful ya.

    Can we use the plug without fuse

    • @kraychong5889
      @kraychong5889  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Technically can, but I always suggest with fuse, more safe

    if the original china plug is written 10A, can i use the 13A fuse or do i need to change the fuse to 10A fuse?

    • @kraychong5889
      @kraychong5889  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi bro, yes u can use a 13Amp fuse, no need to chage anything, or if u worry could buy a 10Amp fuse at electrical shop outside, its only 30sen.
      But in the end of the day, fuse is to protect your cabling and equipment, so as long as your total load is still within 10Amp and won't burn out its fine. a 10A fuse, means its load is probably lower than ~7Amp, which is fine.
