When you play your left hand is not touching your violin but only your thumb plus your fingers are not very long. my playing suffered bad articulation but my hands are big and long fingers plus long neck so I tried to play with my finger knuckle to stop touching violin neck like your hand which worked out great..... NOT FOR LONG because later left shoulder tension came quick ? do you have any helpful tips or recommendations? please
What is this technique of the violinist? It just doesn't work! How we can see it... The problem is that she has no weight at the end of her right arm… I’m a Viola player and normally for us a violin just plays very easy to create a sound… and that she has to force her arm to do a squeeze sound is not normal…

Volume on piano needs to come down in order to hear her properly. Otherwise great piece of music.
This is very nice but it's nothing new. Arthur Grumiaux and Clara Haskil used to switch places in some of their recitals together - long ago.
The piano is merely giving the rhythm and keeping time. No big deal.
