Kevin Sorbo does a good job of the sheriff putting up with a real dorky and stupid mayor. The mayor is more concerned about the annual pumpkin festival getting ruined than caring about a storm that is coming in fast and could devastate the town while the sheriff takes the threat seriously.
That was a very good film ❤ it’s an interesting take on one of those weather movies where people are fighting against lightning ⚡️ or tornados 🌪️ etc but this time it’s lightning with an alien or demon inside of it ⚡️👽👹 I give this 🌟🌟🌟🌟 out of five 👍🏻
We need a part 2 where they get marrid she has another son and his son is pissed off because he has to baby sit all the time because they are out parying all the time and then the lightening storm comes back to town and the hole town gets fried ! the end !

So for that scene, I wish the one who uploaded the movie would have put a disclaimer regarding a body that's severely burned, for those of us who have lost a loved one from a fire. With that scene, I jumped up, ran to my bedroom crying like a baby now. aged 11/2024 @ age 61. I was 19 back in 1983 when reliving the horror my brown eyes saw that day. Watching a flick knowing Kevin Sorbo does Christian movies- I did watch it once I got over my momentary meltdown. There is swearing in this movie as well. Just FYI. Aside from that, I guess it was enjoyable I kind of lost touch with reality during the film. Peace and love especially to those who are long-suffering and enduring the loss of a loved one, in this case, especially a sibling. This is the most delightfully funny, aka dark comedy, you will watch in a long time. Another non-award-winning performance from Sorbo. The mayor kept me grinning and laughing until he met is deserved ending. This mess was too funny, I'm still laughing.

Some funny bits in this, well at least I laughed 🤣 plus people just walking about on the streets and roads no cars about. I think family and friends got to be extras in this 😀 Enjoyed the movie anyway 7/10 from me, worth a watch funny escapism 😀
