    thanks for a very interesting video. I met my ex-wife ( who is a Seychellois lady ) and 2 months later she came to England and we got married here. We have been back once in 2000, but can not afford to go, but am saving up for 3 of us to go back next year; this is assuming I have not died as I am 78 now. I shall keep your video on my TH-cam pages. Hope you enjoy your next trip.

      Absolutely a must! I've been to so many tropical places and Seychelles has been my all time favorite now, considering several essential factors (food, price, beauty, variety of landscape, safety, sea, treks, ecc)
      Trust me, adding it to your to do list is the right thing. (I'm in Maldives now, and even if I love it here, it doesn't even come close to Seychelles beauty)

      @@WishCasting Maldives and Seychelles are my 2 favourite places on earth but I love Krabi in Thailand, don't like Phuket, went to Gili Islands in Indonesia as I stayed in Lombok - and I've travelled to many tropical places as well - some of the beaches in Malaysia are amazing like Redang and Perhentian Islands. July and August is the driest months in the Seychelles but the seas are choppy because of the trade winds. Mauritius is beautiful as well but Seychelles is better and I stayed in all 3 islands of Praslin, Mahe and La Digue. Great video and tips for first time travellers.
      @Rinku On Run, definitely add this to your wish list because Seychelles is amazing with its landscapes and beaches

      hello Alawy, I noticed your comment about marring for your honeymoon in Seychelles. Well, I can recommend Seychelles, as you see from my comments, It is never too crowded. I will hopefully travel with Etihad airlines as they use an A380 to Abu Dhabi and an A320 to Seychelles.
      Of course, Emirates is a huge airline, but they use Boeing 777 planes from Dubai to SEZ. I prefer to support Airbus as they are European.

    Amazing video!!. Good tips. I am from US planning to visit Seychelles. Can you give me some idea about driving rules in Seychelles... left side or right side drive, traffic and any other rules.

    • @WishCasting
      @WishCasting  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there! Thanks for dropping a comment! So driving in Seychelles:
      -Rent a car, not a scooter since you got so many blind curves you could easily get hurt
      -Driving is on the left, steering wheel on the right. It'll take you about 15 minutes to get used to it. BE CAREFUL AT ROUNDABOUTS. Super tricky.
      -Be careful cause many roads have a small sewarage canal on the side of it, if you make a mistake and drive one wheel over it, you'll wreck the bottom of your car
      -Drive slow since many guard rails are missing on curves.
      Don't take a bus since they don't show up sometimes or are very late.
      Any other questions? 🙋

    where else it is save to exchange currency in Mahe? I wonder if we should have the most of our cash in Seychelles Ruppee? I heard that they accept euro, but it's more expensive to buy this way

    • @WishCasting
      @WishCasting  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Always exchange into rupees to avoid exchange fees and bad currency conversions. Take dollars and visit the branch we went to. That was the best deal out of the 4 times we exchanged money around the island.

    I am an American that lives in Madagascar, what is the visa like. 30 days? Cost? Get at the airport or apply online?

    • @WishCasting
      @WishCasting  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there! Get it at the airport nice and easy. You need to declare where you'll be staying at first. Costs depend on your ways of conducting a holiday. If you like chic places, you'll spend a whole lot. If you're a regular, happy with anything, kind of guy like me, I think you can manage pulling a month for 4000 dollars. I think. Not sure! Watch all episodes to the Seychelles. We do make some budgeting there.

    • @WishCasting
      @WishCasting  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a super clever question! Never ever someone's asked that! Good attention to detail.
      We went on holiday twice to the Seychelles. Our first time we went for the short trip, second time we went again given the fact that we loved La Digue so much. But on the video I tried to seemlessly show it was one holiday all together. Both holidays were done on the same time of the year, just separated by 1 year time.

      You can fly direct from Frankfurt I believe. Look on Booking.com for accomodation. Ferry tickets are all easy to book. From here in the U.K. we can get flights for around £500 so I guess that should be a benchmark for the rest of Europe. You can get a place for anywhere upwards of £50 per night. Eating out isn't too expensive either. Do some research & just go - it's breathtaking!

    WE WANT TO SEE MORE LOCAL PEOPLE, YOU CANNOT ADVERTISE A COUNTRY WITHOUT SHOWING ITS NATIVE PEOPLE MUCH. THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE I SEE IN THIS VIDEO ARE PEOPLE FROM OTHER CONTINENT. THAT IS A VERY SUCKS VIDEO. FIRST, THIS IS AFRICA

    • @WishCasting
      @WishCasting  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      These are memories from my holidays, that's why my family is in it mostly.
      I'm using my stories to help others have fun, avoid problems and pay less.
      I think I'm doing a good job helping others. I don't think I'm being bad towards native people.
      Our future videos will have much more about native population than these videos. Simply cause back then I wasn't doing travel guides, I was just recording my holiday.
      If you chose to come to my country, you can do any video you want. I won't be upset. Same should work for anyone going somewhere for holidays.

      Emile, Seychelles is not really Africa. It's a creole island where people are multicultural. Black, white, Chinese, Indians. Apart from the author of this video showing him and his girlfriend and a friend they made, and the Russians filming on the island, the other folks are seychellois. Locals that is. I myself I'm a 100% seychellois. I'm white but my mother is of Indian, African and European origins while father has European ancestry. This is the people of Seychelles and that's our culture. The video depicts our food very well and the people the author interacts with are mostly locals. Nice video by the way.

      @@fokthewef do you know the difference between continent and ethnicity? Seychelles is the smallest country in Africa continent. Am from Africa and the first thing we learn in history classes are the 54 countries in Africa
