- Ohranger is a pretty fascinating show in the history of Super Sentai. It had a fantastic setup marred by a shaky production, and in the years since it's kind of had a bad reputation as a show that almost killed the series (that isn't true by the way). So this time we'll be taking a look at it and all the ways it rules, could've ruled, and influenced future shows that would then go on to rule. 1995 is here, baby, let's look at the Super Sentai of the year of my birth!

Ohranger is an odd show, where I enjoyed watching it, but if I ever do end up watching it again, I'd definitely use that "Filler Guide" you mentioned near the end of the video. It's high's are really high, but it's lows can get very dull. The only other show I really feel that way about is Wizard, but I do think I enjoyed Ohranger more.
Wizard being 53 episodes is RIDICULOUS for the amount of story it actually has to tell, though I am really excited to revisit that and see what I get out of it years after watching it when it was new. Also yeah, considering how much free time everyone has, I might just write up a guide myself to cut down the episode count and suggest a version of the show that's tighter. I typically don't like "watch guides" but this show is a pretty special case where something like that would actually transform the show somehow.
Explode When Defeated ohranger I have seen so many times online it’s on tubitv seen about 15 sentais bioman and gorenger are great sentais😎
My early thoughts about Ohranger (First 10 eps): De Facto is a very, very serious Sentai (I'm aware about Japan's context delivering a turnaround, softening eps), great Red, storyline that brings some kind of tension ( Sentais like Bioman, Flashman, Liveman brings a lot of It), actors delivering that sense of emergency, you got invested.
But Baranoia... How bad they are.
I found some similarities with Changeman, but it's clear to me that Ohranger will do some stuff in your own.
@Zoid Gundum Well, I'm still in EP 12 (I'm not that fast on marathoning séries), but Ohranger is changing for worse in some points. Not a good sign...
I watched Zeo a long time ago and enjoyed, I think was better than MMPR.
@Zoid Gundum I agree, If they did like Go-Busters several years after... It had some kind of change there, but they did respecting the sentai's premise - And they did very well, I rank between top 3 Sentais of 2010's - alongside Gokaiger and Lupinranger x Patranger - I did not seen Ryusoulger.
If you liked Zeo and hated what they did with Ohranger, I strongly recommend Changeman to you. It's the same military focus - But consistent from start to end.
Can't wait for Carranger. That's an interesting show.

There is something thar Shinta Reviews seemed to say on the villains change. I haven't found any sources or asked him why but I he seemed to indicate thar Bachaus was originally going to be the villain throughout the show until Toei ordered the villain change. I have yet to ask where he got that from.
Hidden ranger is a great sentai and so much fun to watch best Mecha fights and best monster designs,jetman is a great sentai a lot of fun too and one of my favorites ohranger,fiveman,gogofive,gaoranger are good sentais rest of the sentais ihave seen are great carranger is the funniest in my opinion dark episodes of ohranger are great the comedy episodes were fun to watch 😎
