Facts , i was in the same situation and my sons heart kept dropping and they were too focused on me pushing instead of them paying attention to my son’s heartbeat . He ended up having no heart beat at the end... so they made me have an emergency c-section .. and he passed away because it was too late ... it was the doctors mistake. Wow, that entire video shows that we need to trust God's timing. We may not understand why He's not answering our prayers no matter how much pain and desperation were in but He knows what's best for us. Maki needed to endure those extra days of pain to be at the right hospital, with the right nurses, doctors and surgeon.

From the nurse saying “you’re okay mama”, to the look Makeala gave Ronnie in utter fear, to the nurse on top of the bed holding in the cord as the doctor yelled “Let’s go guys!” leaving Ronnie to an empty room of silence where Makeala‘s sandals lied next to her bedside that no longer was there.... I can only imagine the fear you must’ve felt. I am so happy that everything in the end is okay. God is magnificent. I hope you feel better soon Makeala!❤️

Cause people are Haters. Which is why women must keep their pregnancy a secret sometimes. Especially people in the lime light.. because people wish death on babies and on the women. People saying hateful things really gets fed to the universe. People are weird and sick. Someone is always gonna hate and dislike. Its those who love and spread positivity that really matter 😊

I think ppl dislike videos like this because the situation. i want to dislike this or videos like this because of the bad situation not because the dislike video content as if they are bored or think its stupid but because damn it kaiser is hella scandalous they almost killed they killed my Tia (my auntie) and they sent my cousin home 4 1/2 months pregnant with a dead baby in her stomach as if she was supposed to fall out of her vagina or something? woman that are pregnant should be a high priority and they are with Kaiser. they made my cousin wait in the ER for over 2 hours only to tell her in less than 5 mins that her baby was dead and they sent her home to wait for her OBGYN instead of rushing her back there in the ER to have the doctors on it she was 4 1/2 months pregnant went to the ER because they didnt feel a heart beat as they were in the middle of their ultrasound they were getting the 3D done as they were they were told they felt no movement heard no heart beat so they rushed to the Kaiser ER here in Sac Ca only to wait for more than 2 hours to be told in less than 5 mins she lost her daughter with no care no empathy no sympathy just sent her home to wait 3 and half weeks with a dead baby in her stomach told to wait for her OBGYN. so situation like ours and Ronnie and Maeki's we want to dislike the situation because Kaiser is hella scandalous to us. im so glad they pushed the issue otherwise Kaiser could have possibly had another life on their hands!

As a fellow nurse I apologize extremely for the issues we had to deal with. As health care professionals we need to remember that our patients aren’t at the same informative level as we are. We can understand something but our patient can be so lost at the same time and we need to remember to step back even during emergency situations for a quick second and INFORM our patients. These are tough times I know we’re tired it’s been such a trying past year but we are in this field to help our patients and that’s our job to do our part.

I kind of feel like this emergency c-section couldn't had happen if the doctors really listened to you when they declined to induce the birth. It's amazing to see that Makeala felt that something wasn't going as right as the doctors told both of you before.
I'm soooo happy that at the end both of you and the baby are ok.It could had ended up being a drastic moment and having bad news about Makeala, the baby or even both.

The amount of love this man has for his family is beautiful. Everyone always talks about how moms go through so much when giving birth which is honestly the truth, I have 2 of my own and the power the woman’s body has is Astonishing. But dads go through a lot too, when your wife has a complication and you can’t do anything to fix it and left worrying, not sure if your child will make it through, and so many parents go through this, while loosing a child. I admire your love Ronnie, your strength Maki. This is real life shit.

It should never be like that they should always be welcoming. Idk but I work in labor and delivery, I work 12 hour night shifts but we are always welcoming and ready for anyone that comes in. It should never ever be the way you experienced. There is no excuse for anyone to behave like that because patients come firs no matter what time it is. I believe you guys were also anxious and had a premonition feeling that things were going to be like this. I’m glad she is here, safe and healthy. When I delivered my son I had a weird feeling we were anxious and my son had some health issues but thank God now 18 years later he is Ok but went through a ordeal. You guys already had premonition and I think that’s why you were feeling the way you were. I’m happy for you and your family. God bless you guys!! That was a cord prolapse very scary, literally the clock starts ticking have seconds to get the baby out.🙏🏽♥️

I started my OB rotation today. One of the patient I was helping with had an emergency c-section. At first, she was only 3 cm. They gave her Pitocin to induce her labor. She had contractions every 2 to 3 minutes which was really good. However, the doctor came and broke her water. So, her water broke. The nurse was monitoring her contractions and the baby’s heart rate. The baby’s heart rate tends to go down as it gets ready to be pushed out. But in this case, the patient’s umbilical cord was coming first before the baby’s head. Each time the patient was having contractions her baby’s heart rate was going up and down . So, she was asked to her from her side to side. Then finally the supine position. The baby’s heart was going up and down. But it got to the point the baby’s heart rate kept going down... (active decelerations) so she had to have an emergency c-section. 🥺 I felt so bad for her, I was wiping her tears. But she’s fine and the baby was fine. ❤️. So, I definitely know how this could’ve been scary for Macky. 🥺🥺
Emergency c-section is the best option because ONE it had put a lot of distress on the baby causing her/him to not have oxygen and could potentially cause a fetal death.

I’m so sorry you had to go through that... but so happy you both are alive and healthy!
my 1st daughter I got induced and dilated all the way to a ten and pushed for 3 hours until my nurses noticed my daughters heart was dropping. They kept moving me into different positions to push, they rushed me into surgery and my baby’s cord was rapped around her neck twice and she came out blue! They said if I kept pushing she would’ve died. I was in labor for 26hrs before my csection. I know exactly the feelings you felt.
& take it easy with your csection recovery! It’s very hard! Walk slow, take your time! My nurses made me walk after my epidural wore off and passed out in the hallway with the nurses! Hope you have a good recovery! Congratulations on your new baby! 😊

Omg the same thing happened to me when I went into labor and I asked for an epidural. My heart rate and my daughter's heart rate went down drastically. All of a sudden about 7-8 nurses or doctors came into the room and I was like lost and all I was doing was looking at my daughter's dad and asking him what's wrong. But thankfully everything went back to normal. They gave me oxygen and both our heart rates went back to regular.
I'm so glad you and your baby are healthy and alive!! Stay blessed mama!

Maki, you shouldn’t have to explain yourself! The healthcare system in this country is biased against people who are not white. You were dismissed and that is not ok especially because there’s two lives involved! You guys did the right thing by bringing awareness to it because this also happened to my sister in law! She was constantly dismissed by doctors during her entire pregnancy because she’s South American and people assumed she wouldn’t pay for her health care (when in fact she always paid out of pocket for services because her jobs insurance didn’t cover it). I am sending you both so many blessings and am so excited to watch this new chapter unfold! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Once I got in the car I start having more contractions and 2-3 mins apart, I refused to go back to the hospital to deliver so I went to another hospital and when I got admitted and checked I was 6 cm dilated actually and contractions were 1-2 mins apart.
