Encore un bien joli morceau superbement interprété. La famille Bach est une véritable pépinière de talents sur plusieurs générations Merci pour ce délice musical.
So beautiful. Definitely has inherited the Bach family talent. I can hear elements of Rameau, Telleman, Handel Lully & especially Charpentier in lots the 3rd & part of the 4th movements, they remind me very much of his works!
It should be noted that this is by Johann Bernhard Bach the cousin of Johann Sebastian, not Johann Bernhard the son of Johann Sebastian. Many who have commented here, seem to assume it's by the son, which doesn't make any sense, since the style is very obviously that of an earlier generation. We don't even know whether Johann Bernhard the younger ever composed anything. There is no evidence or mention of him having been a composer. All we know about him is that he was a bitter disappointment to his father, something that Johann Sebastian expressed in a depressing letter which has survived and can be found online.
Such talent in the Bach family. This was JS's second cousin!

It's a shame most of his music has been lost. This is wonderful.
C'est magnifique ! Et superbement joué par l'Achéron. La basse-continue est somptueuse.

Great Music Forever !
Beautiful music!
Reminded me, occasionally, of Purcell - probably because the French style was so prevalent at the turn of the C18th in Northern European courts.
Bach and Telemann had a baby :)
Bachmann :)

Reminds me more of the french composer Rameau...
I prefer to think that they collaborated on a composition. Hoomeyow!!

Recuerda más al barroco frances que al Alemán. Aunque en la obertura se parece mucho a su primo.
That sounds french!
My first thought!
