This hits home for me. My ex wife has 50/50 custody of our 3 year old daughter with me. My ex is on the child abuse registry for two charges, and her "fiance" is a recently removed tier 3 sex offender for assaulting a girl 13 or younger. Did gender play a role? I'm not sure, I guess. She has no remorse and the only thing I got out of it was, no alimony, child support, and the fact my daughter can't be left unsupervised with him. That includes staying the night at his house. I'm luckier than most fathers I know, but it came at the cost of my child being exposed to a child predator.

The all devouring mother as Jung identify it. It is the most dangerous form of human, because it is subtle and our bias of our great experience with our nurturing mother sometimes make our thinking process into default tendency of mother is the most appropriate person to take care a child.

My dad only got custody of me because my mom refused custody. My mom had no inclination to keep me, nor did she want me, but the court still wanted to give her custody over my dad. My dad is caring and kind and a true leader. He has never had a record and kept his nose clean. He still was deemed less fit than a mother who didn't even want me to exist. I probably would have been killed too if my mom gained custody. I am thankful everyday that I was raised by my dad.

They eventually had their kids taken away and had to show the courts that they cleaned up their act in order to get them back. My uncle got sober, got most of them back, and does everything for those kids. My aunt on the other hand, still does drugs and invites sketchy people around the kids. Despite being separated my uncle does everything for the kids and makes sure they're taken care of everyday while she just does drugs and sleep. My uncle tried to get full custody many times but they said they don't want the children to be without their mother. The kids hate her for what she does and don't wanna be around her, but the court refuses to give him full custody. The courts 100% have favoritism with mothers and I'm tired of it. They sued the social workers who allowed for his little girl to go back to her mother, and were not following through on checking in on her to make sure she was safe. The father only had her on weekends. Mother ended up beating the little girl to death, and she had already done prison time for child abuse of another one of her kids. On the other hand, my mom quit her job as a newsletter editor and started washing fruit to make herself look poor. The judge gave me to my mom because "typically women make better parents then men".

My child was taken from me and given to her mother for 8 days. Worst 8 days of my life. I was so lucky that when we finally went to court, it was somehow apparent to the judge what was happening. So I'm late, but...
When I was about 21, I was in a really, REALLY bad place with my daughter. We were completely on the streets, no hotel room to go to. So I went to the social services office, and she ended up being taken into foster care. Wouldn't you know it, she got an amazing foster family on the first try. I did try to get her back for a while, and I soon realized her now adoptive family was the best option for her. It hurt to sign my parental rights away and stop fighting. It was the most painful decision of my life. But that little girl deserved what I couldn't give her. Years later, she is thriving in ways she never could have with me., with the only parents she's ever known. Her mom is like a big sister to me. These are decisions you sometimes have to make as a parent, because once you have a kid, it's not just about you anymore. But some parents just don't have it in them to give their kids what they need, even if it causes the parent pain. This woman was clearly one of them.

That's because they don't want you! They only one screwed-up parents, the ones who don't want to treat their children right, good Fathers are a shining beacon but they want to pretend you don't exist, and yes I'm saying that as someone who had a bastard for a "father" who beat myself, my siblings and my mother (it wasn't just yesterday it's been more than a decade) but even so I feel i was robbed at the chance of having a real father and I've always strived to at least show my siblings good depictions of fathers so they won't think just because ours was bad that they don't exist, but the courts don't see it that way though only seemingly wanting to give the child to the father if they're not deserving of being one, just like this blatantly screwed-up woman shouldn't have been anywhere near the child.
I hope you get your child and that the court see through her but unfortunately I think you have to have a lot of backing if you're dealing with the type of person I think you're dealing with, that being someone who is extremely manipulative and possibly has NPD, those types of males and females almost always win in court no matter what it is, especially when it comes to children because they lie so easily, the women will likely lie about being attacked by the spouse whereas the men will likely lie about their spouse being a bad mother or drug user, they have no morals and when they go into destroy mode whoever their target is will not fare well if they don't know what they're dealing with, so I really hope that's not what you're dealing with, sorry for going so long but I have a lot of experience in both departments and if you're one of the good ones I wish you well.

The mother is the mother, regardless, which makes it difficult to fight against the county and or state.

Just like in the case I heard about recently where a girl (who luckily survived and got re adopted by a lovely-seeming woman later in life) was placed with a family that had a criminal history already but they want to act surprised when the father starts molesting her and the mother pretends she never knew even though the girl was pregnant at 14 or younger... and it was found out years later that he was also doing so to his biological daughter, if it's a stable and seemingly sane mother and father who want to adopt it is strangely so difficult to get that passed but for these types of scourges against humanity perfectly simple for some reason.

When my father and bio mom got divorced, he had over 300 videos/photos of her physically beating him, myself, and my three siblings. One of the pictures was of when she kicked my younger sister's bedroom door down (like off the hinges, it was a solid core door) and the hole in the drywall where she had beat my sister's head into the wall. The courts gave her full custody of my siblings. I was 15 almost 16 at the time, so I chose to stay with my dad. In the six months she had them she tried to kill herself twice, one of which was suicide by semi truck. Being she tried to drive head on into a semi truck on the highway going 90mph.
With all of my siblings in the car with her.
If it wasn't for the aforementioned sister who grabbed the wheel and turned them back into the correct lane, they all would have died. That was only two months into her having custody, yet the court still wouldn't hand my siblings over.
Safe to say I feel deeply for this father, and that I empathize with him

So it's more advantageous for the State to *INCENTIVIZE* women to break up the families and give the children to the women, because that creates two single tax payers and they can collect more child support from the MAN.

This was a normal thing, so whenever they got back into their neighborhood, they had him walk home so he could cool down. A neighbor saw him and called the police for child abuse, she got pretty much immediately arrested, and cps immediately took their children until they be investigated. They eventually got their children back, but it had unfortunate repercussions.
The mom lost her job, they had to move out of their nice home and into an apartment complex, and in the end it did more harm to those children because now they not only have lost their home, but that boy will blame himself.
    Meanwhile this woman had horrid living conditions, horrid mental health, and a drug addiction with a theft history;

In today's environment we get called misogynists for criticizing anything women do so I think equal custody rights is a long way off (if we ever get there).
My aunt tormented me throughout my childhood while treating her daughter like a spoiled princess

The amount of bureaucratic red tape is absolutely mind boggling and pretty much prevents case workers from doing their job properly. This really hits home for me because I wanted to live with my dad so badly growing up. We were so close and he was the far better parent/person in general.
My mother lied on my dad in court and to me for years, which conflicted how closely I felt to him. Until one day when I was 16 her and I got into an argument about me wanting to visit him , and she FINALLY told me she lied. But it was far too late .
Her lies and keeping us from him caused him major depression and to become suicidal. He stayed in a mental health facility for 2 years. Yet he painted me pictures of horses , and made me bracelets to send to me while he was there :(
Instead I had to live with her addictions, every horrible man she would be with for just a hot minute
. I had 8 stepdads. Like she remarried regularly. I had neglect and emotional /mental and even physical abuse. To the point I was terrified to be a mother because I was afraid I'd be like her. (Now I know that could never be the case❤️) . I had to see things I never should have. I was a depressed teenager. I now live with anxiety as a 27 year old. It sucks. And it all comes from trauma that she will never admit she did.

@@starlyghtdrifter66 hello! I just want to say I am so sorry that you had to experience this. I know that it is extremely painful and really affects you. I hope you have found a good place within yourself ❤️
I'm so sooooo happy for you that you've got a beautiful family of your own! That is absolutely amazing.
I went to therapy for a few years actually! It helped me so so much. I have made so many improvements in my life. There's only one or two things I still need to work on, as I've gotten my anxiety to a completely self manageable state ❤️I personally don't even need medication (BUT people who need it SHOULD take it and there is absolutely NO judgement ) because although it took time, I worked through many of the traumatic things that happened. And I learned by some amazing psychologists some good tools. I'm happy to say that while still having the memories and random spurts of anxiety I find myself only anxious when something is quite triggering. Like family inviting her for a holiday without telling me , and me having to see her sitting across the room . I have always said, and I mean it , she is the only person I have ever truley feared.
A man or woman, no matter how big., Small , mean, polite , a stranger etc do not unnaturally scare me. Sure, I'm regularly leveled cautious around strangers , however she is the only person I have ever feared. And that I don't think will change. I'm terrified of the thought of her.
I did end up connecting to my father. We got very close again. It was amazing . Unfortunately that ended a couple of years ago ❤️ it was painful and still is jarring because he was genuinely the better parent my whole life. His mental illness , a depression, paranoia and etc really affected him unfortunately. Not only did he miss his children for years and so what he could , but he knew we were being abused and everytime he tried to help it didn't do any good . unfortunately I don't have him anymore. Not to mention she abused him as well , and cheated on him.
I do however love and respect people with all of my heart. Sometimes to a fault because my life as a child resulted in me being a doormat and allowing various abuses from partners . That hurts actually. I didn't date until I was 18 because I feared marriage, and I only dated twice. Both times were people that I wanted and craved loved from so much , just to have someone love me , that I allowed many things. I also have self esteem issues. Regularly I'm told I'm attractive n some way, but I'd never believe it. As my appearance had been criticized a lot when I was younger. I'd be looked up and down and told if ai had gained weight, lost weight, had acne , etc. This is something I must change how I think still. Because I still feel ugly. I still feel stupid. And I still trust nearly no one.
I only share my sorry to bring awareness to the effects of the systems bias for mother's ❤️ however, I at least know I could NEVER be ike her. Which was major growth for me.
      Take care friend

I'm doing good today, though. I have gotten myself to a point with therapy that my psychologist didn't think I needed them anymore! And I'm doing as good as I can now.
My anxiety is very managed , but I obviously have a few triggers that just make me anxious or depressed. It however use to be daily , and now is rare ❤️now I function mentally fairly healthy. It's so freeing.
      Long story short , though,
My appearance was criticized every morning. From head to toe. I now think I'm ugly no matter how many times I hear otherwise. I actually find myself more self conscious when someone compliments me. I don't believe them. The way I was treated about my appearance, made me out too much of my worth into how I look. I feel unlovable if I look unattractive.
There's so so much more. When I said it's a lot, it is an absolute lot . And I'd love to share for awareness, but it quite a bit to take in I think for someone else

The system is set up to *INCENTIVIZE* women to break up families, it then gives custody to the female because the state collects a portion of all child support payments and 9x out of 10 the father makes more money than the mother.
So it's more advantageous for the State to *INCENTIVIZE* women to break up the families and give the children to the women, because that creates two single tax payers and they can collect more child support from the MAN.
The solution? Don't have kids with a day walking street urchant. Unfortunately that's like 40% of females these days!

I knew a guy that a similar situation happened with his little boy. My friend fought and fought to get full custody because he noticed his son was coming to his house with bruises and black eyes. CPS gave him the run around and eventually his son was literally beaten to death. CPS doesnt do their job period. My friend then sued CPS. It was a heartbreaking time and it saddens me to see nothing has changed in the last 15 years.

I unfortunately have met a few CPS workers who have quit because of cases like this where their hands were tied and all they could do was watch in horror as something bad happened. They tried so hard to stay, for the kids, but in the end every single one that quit had to do so for their own mental health. I have awful memories of hearing one cry over some kids she’d had to hand over to abusive parents. She’d fought so hard and even tried to get them placed with her as foster kids when the excuse was that they didn’t have a foster placement for them. She wouldn’t say what happened exactly but I know it must have been bad since she got to the point where she was suicidal.

yup the system needs changing as a social worker who was choosing a field to specialize in. a cps worker has the highest turnover of any social work career with the average being 2 years before they quit. they see horrible things and can’t do a damn thing about it and they are often given an impossible amount kids to look after/over so they end up over worked and underpaid and children end up worse off or dead. it’s the worst profession in the US due to how it’s forced to operate.

im studying to get my master's in social work right now and there's definitely a systemic problem when it comes to the way CPS cases are handled. Everyone is quick to blame CPS workers for negligence but you have to remember that they have little say on the decision that the court makes. Advocating for children and father's is something I'll definitely do as a male social worker, but I doubt it'll make a difference. The system failed that boy and so many others, failing to give the father's proper representation in having sole custody. Statistically, the kids turn out better with a single father anyway.

My best friend fought his wife in court for years over custody of his daughter. The judge refused to let him have the child even though the mother was diagnosed as mentally unstable. She was granted 100pct custody, even though she didn't have a job and was in section 8, and my friend never missed child support or visitation and never was without a full time job. The mother at one point got a new boyfriend that didn't like children, and the mother drowned her 4 year old in the bathtub to get rid of her for the new boyfriend. Then instead of getting life in prison, they gave her 25 years in a mental institution. Tell me that the court system isn't rigged.
The simple fact is that the court system is payed $.62 on every dollar of child support that is collected, and goes towards the Judicial retirement. So the courts are incentivized to give the mothers majority custody over the children regardless of the living conditions. This should not be legal in any way but somehow we continue to let this crap happen.

I was a victim of the system, taken from a good home in a decent neighbor and sent to my mother deep in the ghetto in a 3 story 2 bedroom apartment.
She couldnt take care of any of us, locked us in the room when she had work and we had no school, beat us (me especially), hit us with heavy objects like irons, starved us and as i got older the abuse got worse until it was just repeated beat downs from a woman twice my size.
No one helped me, the police made it my fault, the school pretended not to notice and cps did nothing when she promised to kill me right in front of them.
I had to run away and sleep in the woods multiple times, even in the rain.
I had to stay in the corner with my hands up for hours and if they dropped she hit me in the head with an iron bar.
She did nothing but raise me into a punching bag until i got lucky and was sent to juvenile detention over a crime i didnt commit.
The failing system put me there and the system failing again is what saved my life.
I fought for years to stay sane in that abusive environment.
I havent seen nor spoken to her in 20 years and i never will.
The biggest lie ever told is that a mother unconditionally loves her child.
