Trouble with water fill it will build its own momentum sloshing around when hit and therefore move. Sand is physically more stable and will provide a more solid base.
Good review. Was the tank filled with water or just halfway? Because it looks flimsy when you hit it, almost fell off. I'm thinking of getting this. Thank you.
Thank you for the video. Can you easily take the bag off the foot? The idea is to leave the plastic foot outside in the garden and to take the bag inside after a workout. I'm in doubt between the Powerline and the XXL to buy.
Yes you can easily take the bag off. All you do is slide it all the way up and it comes off. I made a review for the XXL here if you want to watch it th-cam.com/video/UZCYQDcNSGM/w-d-xo.html
@@ShreddedDad So I bought the Powerline last Summer. I recommend it. Very good video, you convinced me to buy one. Greetings from Belgium and thank you.
Thanks for the review. How tall are you? For the red bag, it doesn't look like you could punch where a head might be and kick where a thigh might be simultaneously. Is that the case?
I'm 5'7". The red bag does have limitations based on the size of the bag. If you want to have the ability to punch and kick during the same workout, then the black one would be better to avoid stopping to change heights.
Just bought this bag and used it for the first time. I was extremely disappointed. Bag was moving all over the place as I was punching it. I placed mats on the ground, but still moved all over the place. Do you believe the XXL is more stable?
I would like to get a free standing punching bag for my home gym. Can you please tell me what would be a better choice? century wavemaster original or century wavemaster powerline. I think powerline has 2x high density foam.
I used water. It was filled all the way though. My kids use that one so I don't need it to be heavy. When it's filled all the way it weighs around 270 lbs
How much water is in the base, seems like the bag is getting knocked all over. I need something that wont really move since it is going to be inside my house, thoughts?
No it wasn’t filled all the way. I used water but this one is mainly used by my kids so I don’t keep it full. Sand is an option too. I’ve even seen people use wet sand
@@philipjnz9923 What I figured out, fill it with water and then go buy 4-6 60 pound sandbags and put them behind the stand. Round it off. It'll still move, but not nearly as much and the recoil is pretty cool.
Hey man, I’m 6’4 tall and I want to buy a freestanding bag. Considering my height, could I still buy the original wave master that only reaches 68 inches tall?
I had the everlast version of the original wavemaster, almost identical. it was ok but do yourself a favor and get the xxl it is far more superior if you have the room for it and takes a hit more solidly. Very satisfied wit it
@@ShreddedDad okay cool thanks, I want to get a bag, I live in an apartment so I'm looking at this but don't want it to move around a bunch. I train muay thai and MMA and am 6' 250lbs. How do you think it would fare if I filled it all the way with sand?
@@jamesrivera6068 yea I picked one up. Filled it with 200lbs of sand and it's stable enough. It will move still, but not really something you should be going 100% anyway I guess. It gets me to move around the back to hit it back into the center of the room lol. I also put a nonslip mat under it and it seems to help
You can buy diffrent kinds of sand to make it even heavier or the cheapest solution is normal sand and than ADD water to the sand makes it extremly heavy

I don't like how it's moving in this video
Good review. Was the tank filled with water or just halfway? Because it looks flimsy when you hit it, almost fell off. I'm thinking of getting this. Thank you.
It wasn't filled all the way. My kids use that one so I don't have it full (ages 8 and 11). When full it weighs around 270 lbs so it's very sturdy.
Nice home gym setup sir. Real clean looking 👌
Thanks 👊
Ty , was going to buy one and wanted to know how durable it was.
They're very durable. Have had mine for over a year and they're still doing well.
Nice video... i was wondering what are you using for your flooring , puzzle mats ?
Thanks. I'm using these mats th-cam.com/video/tcHBu1cqrYQ/w-d-xo.html
Does it move the same when u hit it, when it’s fully filled with water
My kids use this one so it's not completely filled. When it's completely filled, it weighs over 250 lbs so it's very stable.

How can i buy this and ship it to bahrain, I have checked it by amazon but unfortunately no seller is available

68 inches is way too low for a guy your height. You should absolutely get something bigger.
