In my opinion, this is one of Tommy's "misses". Usually, he manages to improve, or at least power-metalize, the song, but in this nothing really is added. Maybe the problem is just in the song selection... what could really be added to perfection?

Where was the gong at the end? Growing up with the original I have to say there was something missing, certain inflections or emotional quality. Freddie made it look soooo effortless.
Maybe no more covers are needed, but that doesn't mean someone couldn't come along and reimagine this, like Angelina Jordan did, and have it sound incredible.

Yeah, some tings are best left alone, but this is a cover unparalleled and i believe that even Freddie Mercury would be quite honored by this cover.
I'm still expecting Tommy to do "Ghost Love Score." When he does, I'll try to record my head exploding for posterity.
