It makes no sense why there’s not one affordable electric motorcycle that looks the part too. If folks have a blast on 125cc and 250cc bikes , why hasn’t someone made a “smaller” electric bike ? The electric bike industry doesn’t have to start at Moto GP level power amounts. How come no one can see that an affordable 400-600cc equivalent electric sportbike would change everything
Electric bike technology is still very expensive to use and isn't in demand. Small cc bikes are actually very cheap to produce and have better price per performance in every aspect. It's just very difficult to actually make a cheap electric bike, so when they design them, they aim for the price and performance that matches petrol bikes. it just happens that the cost of making an electric bike is similar to a 1000cc petrol bike, so they try to compete in that kind of market. This will change with time as more battery powered vehicles are being produced and batteries become cheaper. Electric bikes will only become more common and cheap once big manufacturers (Honda, Yamaha, Bmw, Suzuki) start making them.
It will get cheaper eventually as the regular popular motorcycle manufacturers(kawasaki,yamaha,honda) starts acquiring the battery tech and R&D it further. Only a few brands have them and rightly so because the current tech are very expensive for manufacturers to dive into
I personally wouldn't buy one but this thing is amazing. The first bike i've seen that alerts you of your surroundings like a car. That and the transforming foot pegs and handlebars, this bike is all in one and the perfect machine

I test rode some Zero electric motorcycles and there is no comparison to the gas motorcycle. They just don't handle like current Sport bikes. They were too silent and the brakes were terrible. I had a couple close calls, people don't see you until you pass them. But I must say as far as looks. . .the Damon look really NICE!!!! Looking forward to more videos, it's not like you haven't influenced my purchases in the past, right? LOL
What's the weight? How long does it take to fully charge? 25,000$ as a base is like an entry level price point for these E-Bikes it seems. The Lightning 218 is still the benchmark for E-Bikes tho.

what's up with angle that the display is placed at ? looks way too steep (and the mounting point seems too low too ... you will have to fully look down, if you want to check your speed ... no bueno)
bonkers bike ! small complaint though, stripes on a bike should always be swept upwards and towards the rear, this not only makes it looks better, but also looks faster when its not moving!
Looks like a great commuter bike and just nice to have. My only concern would be taking it on canyon runs and worrying about running out of juice. 200 mile range doesn’t seem like a lot for a good ride day. I’m too lazy to even stop for gas sometimes.
The concept is really cool. But for me the sound and personal customization are two of my favorite characteristics of riding a motorcycle. A platform like this you can’t modify, all those electronics and sensors prevent that.
This bike has the potential to make a huge leap forward for electric bikes. One thing about the warning system, with cars that have then they actually become distracting and jarring when a random chime comes on. So in a car it's bad, on a bike it would be sensory overload.
IMO 1. Bike sound is one of the main reason you ride bikes 2. 200 miles will probably only be like 50 miles if you doing smackdowns like 650lb does. Having said that it will be nice to have as a 2nd bike in the garage it looks bad AF. The one or 2 electric bikes I've seen I like and that FORD has grown on me too hope it's a hit for Ford (I own stock lol).
Jay DKB Games I disagree on the first point. If someone only cares about the sound then that’s fine with me. I do enjoy that as well but the feeling is more important to me. Balanced on two wheels and unprotected from the elements. Plus some people that have actually ridden electric bikes say that the experience is cleaner since you can hear everything around you. But yeah, things will change and not everyone likes that. In addition to the first point, for some reason I get extremely angry over loud noices that I can’t shut down or control (Ones not produced by me obviously then) so it’s nice that cars and bikes are slowly making this transition. No need to eat any more moped riders for just pure hate, now I can do it just for the heck of it.
I'm still trying to get to the bottom of the mystery drones of Colo. and Neb. Haven't had time to worry about fast motorcycles lately. The drones are still flying, but the media and Sheriffs departments aren't talking about them anymore. Why?

As nice that generator on wheels is, it's still not the feel of a motorcycle. Even today's bikes with all the Gizmo electronics, then get on 1987 GSX-R 1100, now you really feel what bike is.
