I saw at the age of 22 and since the I don’t remember for how many times I enjoyed every moment of the movie and at 72 I still enjoying it. Another one is “The Odessa File”.
I am 73 years old, and Guns of Navaron is the movie I never forget. All cast with no exception were famous and great at that time and to me they were among greatest!
Those were created by God as Guns for action and emotions. They were Encyclopaedia for entire film world fos action and drama. Thank God for creating Genius Legends.🎉
First saw this "Guns of Navaron" when I was in 1st yr HSC student, (1965). After that watched many times, later collected VCD of it & still have those for watching. Such a thriller/action movie.
THE BEST SCENE OF THE GUNS OF NAVARON. I MUST HAVE SEEN THIS MOVIE 2--3 TIMES EVEN ON A LAPTOP ALSO THE UNFORGETTABLE ONE. NOW I AM 85 REMEMBER THE OLD MOVIES. I HAVE SEEN WHERE EAGLES DARE, DELTA FORCE THE FIRST BLOOD.
This is the most unrrealistic movie about ww2 and one with the greatest number of details, scenes and circumstances that would have never taken place in reality. Already the main plot is totally out of realm of reality. And what bout taking a bunch of Allied commandos POW and bringing them like passangers in a bus so they could be "interrogated" or rather interviewed by Nazi officers as if they were about to go to a legal court. I even feel ashamed of having liked it when I was a kid.
@@jamescypler4599 I read that book but I don't remember if it was as unrealistic as the movie. I remember though that the traitor was not a woman but a man, the second in command of the Greek guerrillas. I guess they had to make a few changes to get across the censorship of Greek machoism.
I saw it first when I was 10. Today I'm 70 and still yearn to see it over and over again. What a film. What a dazzling group of actors!!
Me too
Same here..saw it with My Dad..
Whenever l view it again..l could feel my Dad beside me.. enjoying the film.
Am 75- now 😢..

The best war time movie "Guns of Navorone" and a cast unmatched.... maybe close to "Where Eagles Dare"....❤
Gregory Peck is simply awesome & terrific in this all time best classic thriller.
I saw the movie when I was 13 great picture, enjoyed very much . I watched the same when I grown up also still enjoyable
A classic WW2 movie with great actors, good acting and plot. Hollywood wouldn’t dare doing a remake of this movie.
Good scene by Anthony Quinn.

Guns of Navarone is one of many books by Alistair McLean.
This is Guns of Navaronne which I had watched for three times in local Bambino Cinema of Karachi , Pakistan !
Super anthoni queen best seen
Such a shame that the suits in Hollywood are incapable of making such films anymore...

❤❤❤❤great movie
Every one looks great in the German uniform
Read the novel first and then the movie. Alistair MacLean was a genious but the movie was even better.
3:51 pistol is in the blowback position
The SS Officer is missing his shoulder boards at SS - Hauptsturmfuehrer { Captain } rank and his left sleeve SS Eagle.
港譯:六壯士
格力哥利柏,大衞尼云,安東尼昆,史丹利碧加,安東尼葵路...等等,百看不厭的經典戰爭名片👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
How amazing that sadism survives through the drcades
Movie name is Guns of Navaron 1961.
Notável. Grato em postar.
❤❤❤
Need link of this movie
The MANY DECADES
Fair job on german uniforms but pistols normally worn on left hip
Another mistake - no Reich sleeve eagle on left sleeve of SS officer.
Canhões de Navarone
Alistor McLean was great.

Its just a film not a true story based on book by alister macllean

This is NOT a documentation. Hollywood movies are NOT realistic. Their ony goal is to entertain.
Awful film with an elderly cast.
