- WRITTEN & DIRECTED BY RICKY PARADIS (VIDEOHOMICIDE) AND SHOT BY TAYLOR PLOURDE. This is the first major project of year two of our program at Fanshawe college. In this documentary, we explore the collectors of a once irrelevant media, Records. This documentary is compiled of 3 interviews and lots of B-Roll. Filmed in London Ontario over the month of October, we are very proud of the final product.
We have also considered shooting more footage for an extended documentary.

just excellent, I love my record collection.....its the story of my life, period
By far the best project you've done to date, exceptionally well down.
Thanks a lot Karl!
I love this quality piece of film.👌
💀💀💀
Tomorrow I'm going to two shops on the other side of my state Ive never been to. Fingers crossed.
Good stuff, man! Cheers from a fellow Londoner.
At around 3:50 this guy says “It’s analog. It’s how your ears work.” Everything he said surrounding that was beautiful. I am always finding myself struggling to explain why records sound better than digital formats.
Wow that was awesome dude, man I wish I was near ya I could talk hours about vinyl, Also love had you brought up the difference with CDs I been yelling that for years!!
Thanks marky i made this for people who love the format like you.
Great stuff Rick! I loved it.
Thankss!!! :) Me and my buddy made this.
On second :19..what song is it..!?
Amatuer vinyl collector myself, have some videos on my channel. Listening to Louis Armstrong one right now
Pretty cool. Hope you get some more views!
Well done!!!
Thanks a lot buddy!
very cool :)
There was always that long haired freaked out guy at the record store that would say something like, " hey man check out this far out shit". Sometimes I would buy an album just because the cover looked weird. Still have my records and would never buy a record online. Unfortunately I think the craze is dying. Give it another few years and it will be over and done with. I have heard recent pressings and you can tell that they were sourced from digital reproductions and not the original master tapes. Will love music till the day I die though.
Thanks for watching Ian!
do you ever post on the tapeheads .net forum? having major deja vu and thinking i saw this awhile back on that website
No dude, i've never heard of that site. Someone might have possibly posted it .
Hi Steve
Dial-A-Cliche
Nothing should be recorded digital. Ruined music. CDs if you want the convenience but never recorded.
