Arkansas fan here: I think u guys got an amazing coach right here. Hes not just a great coach, he's an amazing person and the kids will love him. I really will be cheering him on as the new head coach. I know Kentucky fans can be Ruthless at times so I'm really praying Popes team does great next year. Fingers crossed yall make it past the second round in the tournament. I truly hope he does great, except when playing Arkansas! Seriously Kentucky fans please be good to Mark! He's such a sweet fantastic person with a great heart and will to win!

Cutler is the man. Met him at Jake's Cigar Bar at the opening in the new location. Guy is truly the coolest to ever do it. He should write a book, or several. Sure he has stories for days.
Had kinda lost track of Cutler since he 'retired' from TV. But living in Cincinnati where he's well known for working the Bengals beat, you can't help but like him. Seeing him looking like he's living his best life kinda reminded me of David Letterman after he came out of hiding a few years after retirement with long hair and a glorious beard! I was able to catch most of his radio show Friday and his interviews with so many UK legends throughout those 2 hours, Pitino's recorded message, and watching that viral video of Pope's offensive philosophy really helped me embrace the hire. UKBB has a fun colorful media with guys like him, Oscar, Matt Jones, and so on! I think having a coach who can interact with these guys in his goofy but professional manner instead of putting up walls will be invaluable. Seeing Rupp only 3/4th full in November/December for the last 5-10 years due to fan apathy and program malpractice is going to be a thing of the past i'm confident!
I don't know about you all but I'm very excited with Mark being our coach! I really think he will make a difference at UK. He is knowledgeable and sincere!
Two wonderful statements coach Pope constantly used "We don't do that here" and " that's the Job, that's the assignment" Folks those are real fighting phrases...this coach is about kicking real ass. He really wants to win EVERY GAME! HERE WE GO WILDCATS!!
Honestly BBN was done with the Hollywood cal atmosphere you all wanted one your guys but be carful what you ask for Cal with Arkansas resources is gonna be nasty work.
Meh could have hired someone better definitely a better game adjustment and x and o coach but recruiting etc will go downhill. Maybe they can recruit more tougher older guys tho
Coming from an Alabama fan, I hope Kentucky does well. College basketball is nothing without a strong Kentucky
