The music video is a re-enactment of the night she overdosed and her hospital stay. Even the clothes she wears is what she wore the night she overdosed. Also the guy that rolled her over in bed is representation of her drug dealer who assaulted her that night and left her for dead. Love Demi and loved your guys reaction.

@@romycullen17 I thought so too. she said it was actually cathartic in a way and helped with healing from it. she put up a "behind the scenes" of the music video and she was actually smiling and happy on set, that made me feel a bit better! she just wanted to show her story ♡
I think it is known for most people who knows that story. Glad she is doing better.
Now that the making of the video is out, if you check out the 1:36 timestamp, it says: "demi wore this 'Legalize Marijuana' t-shirt because it's similar to the one she actually wore on the night of her overdose"

This song is badass. A lot of recovery songs can be cringe. Drugs are wild, all it takes is saying “fuck it I’ll try it” a couple times & your life changes forever. Quitting is possible- I just passed 2.5 years off heroin🤙🤙

Demi is the best role model there is. She’s completely honest with her struggles and her imperfections only make me love her even more.
Best role model? Pfff she is still using. She has lied before... and all the psychologists that have watched the videos... say she is on a slippery slope. I like her songs.. I just hope she finds the help she needs. I’d hardly say she is the best role model.

But now, after watching her last documentary.. and The last problem she caused to that fro yo shop and her specially insincere apology... now that she is not been so “controlled”.. she is showing who she really is.. and I don’t think it’s a good role model. Such a good role model, attacks a small business over yoghurt (because they didn’t struggled enough during the pandemic) and completely skip pass the fact that celiacs like me exist. How dare a shop offer a product to me while triggering her... and her response was ‘they could tag it as the name of the sickness instead of *sugar free*’... like I want everyone to know what my problems are.
@@kachitax you can be a leader in certain aspects of your life and not others. she is 100 percent a leader for ppl struggling with addiction. Especially those in the industry. having faults doesn't mean you cannot be a role model. Everyone has flaws. EVERYONE.

She had a really tough overdone, suffered a heart attack and a fee strokes! Lost most of her vision, and only seen with like 50% of one of her eye... its insane what she pulled through 🙏🙏🙏🔥
I'm a huge fan of Demi's, so I was really excited when I saw the thumbnail for this. I think one of Demi's greatest strengths, aside from her voice, is her confessional approach to writing. She can be more metaphorical at times, but not for the purpose of throwing you off the scent of what she's talking about.
Funnily enough, she collaborated with Christina a few years ago. The song kind of flew under the radar, which is a shame... it had a great video, too. It's called "Fall in Line" if you're ever curious!

I've watched this music video and listened to this song a million times and it still makes me almost cry. And actually cry sometimes. I've never dealt with a drug addiction before but I've dealt with other addictions in a way and this song just reminds me of that. I've also come very close to death several times and it's fucking scary

Something I noticed from watching the “dancing with the devil” documentary about her OD, the green jacket outfit she’s wearing in the music video is the same outfit she was wearing from an actual video taken from the night she OD’d and this music video, lyrically and visually, covers everything she talked about if you can catch it all. DEEP stuff.

Hi guys!! Many people have criticized Demi for making this video for the song, people don't understand that decision... I do not see this like a bad thing, for Demi is a type of catharsis. And I always appreciate the people's reactions, because explain a little why the music video. Anyway, the song is amazing and I think it is one of her best songs! And the most important thing is Demi's happiness and that she is emotionally well. I wish you could play subtitles.idk if that is a thing that each content creator has control over or not but if you do..just something to think about I guess.
