I'm glad cash only, more places should do it, reason being, when you buy an item with cash it means the banks don't receive a percentage of the transaction (they make enough money as it is) and it doesn't cost the shop keepers for making a card transaction. Meaning they can lower prices.
If we had a cashless society, it would be a nightmare, the government can control whether you are able to buy things, it would also mean you couldn't give kids pocket money, you couldn't pay a local person for odd jobs, homeless wouldn't get any help on the streets... Basically we all should use cash as much as possible, if we dont use it, we lose it.

Watched with a tear in my eye as Chapel St Leonard’s was my late wife’s favourite place, she spent all 6 weeks holidays there as a child at her grandads, he passed away just before we met at 15 and we had a couple of holidays there in the 70’s, about 3 years ago I took her back there and was quite emotional as she wasn’t here much longer 😢

I stopped packing for my husband a long time ago, he packs his own now as he constantly blamed me for forgetting stuff. Now If he forgets anything, its on him ....not me!
I drive our motorhome all over the UK for motor bike rallies as he rides his motorbikes to the venues. 7.3 metre hymer. The more you drive the more confident you get. On regular trips and main hols that does not involve motorbikes, he drives.

We found ourselves in the same situation in Chapel, but the shop / store have a cash machine charge 50p, the co-op has a cash point.
Groobys Pit is immaculate, very peaceful, we found ourselves whispering to each other.

Loved it Andy and Claire. Took me back to my childhood, spent a lot of time in Wainfleet with my grandparents. Used to stay at the Angel pub in the village, my grandmother's cousin was the landlady. 😂😂

Makes me laugh. 8.5m van!!! Whats the point??. You can't go anywhere worth going off the beaten track with something that huge. Don't get it unless you love huge commercial campsites. Still don't get it but each to their own.

My Mrs is way too nervous to drive our 7.4m Motorhome, especially after our satnav had a fit , and sent us down a lane narrower than the van, after the hedges had grown. Luckily it opened up at the bottom, Good old Devon.,

I really enjoy all your videos but this one really struck a chord , loved it , I feel like the pair of you are nice people partly due to me being from Sheffield and spending a few year working with ex miners from Barnsley, but thank you for bringing back great memories of the east coast , my cousin pretended to be a parking attendant in chapel saint Leonard’s and got 50 pence per car in the main car park back in late 80s , thankyou to you both but leave the dogs in the dog house and get in that lovely pub

I drive our van its like a freakin tank no power steering !! I end up with swollen feet for some reason. Just remembering to take corners wide. You cant just sail across roundabouts there is an element of planning with the gear change its like mixing a pudding. 😂😂😂❤❤❤ xxx

OMG. I'm glad, but in way sad, I don't have a camper/motorhome anymore. Having travelled with our young boys all around France, occasionally across the Pyranees but also from Cornwall to East Anglia to the West coast highlands like Ardnamurchan. We used to favour small intimate sites like Caravan Club Certificated Locations (CCL's). Sadly a great deal of the sites we used have been, and are being, destroyed by chalet and static explosion. Money, money money and grab as much as possibe.....Sad.
