@@justjordan6560 not really the shop will charge you $20k for a used motor and then another $40k for your old used oil onto of the $100k fee to have them not check your tire pressure for free. Then as you drive away all 4 of your wheels fall off.

I've heard the motor mounts and transmission bolts line up perfectly for a 2jz.
No one yet has figured out what car the 2JZ that bolted up to the engine mounts without modification came from. Sadly. Trans bolts up though

@@BaconwithBacon So do I and when I was deciding what to do with my Sky I picked his brain a ton since I was considering a 2JZ swap. He had to do engine mounts for his. It didn't drop in like the famous 2JZ swapped Solstice that had the article/blog written about it. There was also another guy in TX doing a 2JZ Sky but he gave up on it after the engine was in...he got burned out in the wiring. He also had to do engine mounts IIRC.
Then I believe there was a drift Sky that had a 2JZ in it too IIRC...can't remember if that was a 2J or LS for certain but my shitty memory wants to say 2J. So that would be 4 (if my memory doesn't totally suck) Kappa platform 2JZ swaps I can think of.

@@siddadoodI have an inline 4 with a dual outlet quad tip exhaust. The 2 4 Kappas come with a single but the factory turbo models have duals. Since this is a 2.4 with a turbo kit it probably still has the single exhaust.

@@Soulie81 That Pontiac 2.4 gets about 20 to 25 mpg an LS3 gets about 15 to 20 mpg so not that much of a difference

It's because the modern cars don't feel fast. I just drove an X5 with 450 hp and it felt slow but then I realized I was doing 60 in a 30 zone

Yea the RS6 is a car that is better in every way than that budget car lol. The solstice is a cool car to swap a big power engine into and rip but not even close to being as cool, fast, reliable or comfortable as that RS6. Totally different cars for two totally different audiences, can't compare them at all.

A 2JZ and a RB26 can fit in a Subaru BRZ, the brz and this car have similar dimensions in the front of the car, so he could swap to a 6 cilinder in-line engine, with some modifications maybe a V6. Would be amazing
One of his biggest hints was that he’ll be using the ar5. Good guess is a jz
He also said ac on the passenger side and power steering on the driver side. That would fit an ls too.
