you play at a much higher level than me so this might be wrong but in this current meta i feel like Pluff, st14 lffy and st13 luffy are all much more popular than blue dofie whereas in 8.5 dofie gets much stronger due to the new starter deck. so i feel like your regionals/heavy comp deck is good rn and the kuzan build w/ hound blaze will be much better in 8.5 since the luffy have a hard time into dofie.

It’s possible that houndblaze is the better option, but when we move into the Doffy meta in 8.5 one of the decks used to beat him is pluffy which gravity blade is better. Gravity blade isn’t bad into Doffy, a little overkill sure but it’s still a two for one. But it really depends if Doffy takes the spot of Lucci and is just 20-30% of the meta then it might be the time to use the houndblaze build but if he is something like 10% and lucci and Bonny stay really popular then gblade is probably the option.

These decks are very backfoot and are hard to win with against many decks. It needs something, the 3rd to 5th turn is hard unless you draw all the right cards and you are splashing 2 of some of these key cards, but without the other cards the deck collapses at the top end. 😞

I have found that isn't the case for most matchups, though into Luccis and Luffys that run high amounts of removal yeah the mid-game is a bit on the weak side and thus the deck suffers into them, into Bonney, BY Luffy, Nami, and most of the yellow decks these lists tend to do quite well. My most recent video addresses how to deal with Luccis and st14 Luffys with an older variant of the lists.

how do you win agains Reiju? Its a worst matchup agains us, or i just suck? That fucking red rangers is so anoing

So on a high roll beating it isn't very easy, but say they stick one Ichiji the best thing you can do is KO all other characters and bottom the Ichijis. If you can establish a solid amount of blockers and focus heavily on removal you can consistently stale out their board as you move into mid to late game.
Now if you are playing a Gecko build I can't fully answer this question. I don't play much of the Gecko list and was basing this more off experience from other Becca players I know and how I am reading my local meta game.
Starving out a Reiju isn't really an option though so the goal in this case is staling until your Aramaki Kuzan and then they have a hard time finishing you off because they run out of babys by that point usually.

@@the_lord_nick I had the feeling that no matter what I did during the turn, next time I would always take a Ichijis rush 7k+2k don plus Reiku5k+2k don
I think it really is a very difficult match.
My deck goes to Kuzan+Aramaki too
Im thinking its is worth to freeze the first ichiji with patching+Hajrudin
While we're at it, why did you end up swapping Hajrudin for Orlumbus again?

The Reiju match up is not an easy one, not being able to swing with lead gives Reiju and insane amount of control over the match up. Removing big Ichiji is just not the game plan super early, focus on clearing the porches, the Reijus and Nijis before they get a chance to swing if you remove the count the number of big icijis and play around it, yes 7k swing is annoying but it is worse to give them the draw from replaying it and the attack reduction means you always lose sabos to blocks.
As for the Orlombus it was more for other matchups. I stopped using him a while back because of Law, Hajrudin was an answer to that percieved meta as he was a hard card for law to deal with, but every black deck was able to deal with 4-6 roughly the same and Hajrudin is harder for us to reestablish if he gets KO'd because we can't get him back with Mansherry but we can get orlombus back that way which allows us to replay him and use him on turns we probably couldn't use hajrudin unless we had an aramaki or brook already established. Also Orlombus allows us to use leo easier as he doesn't force us to rest leader. So it's a give and take, if you dont like the orlombus package you can keep with Hajrudin, in which I think you need to run patchwork or tempest kick to help him out as well as taking the Leos out, you can look to add in more brooks if you want to hopefully be able to keep reoccurring removal on board.
