Can't lie, since I was a kid in the 90s, I've always known Toni was a goddess. Still is now at 54-55 years old. However, when I heard Tamar actually sing like Tamar with this Love And War album, I fell for her vocals like no other. She is an incredible soprano singer who really sadly didn't get to shine how she should have. She was already 36-37 when she did this album and when she had the hance to do her first solo album at 22-23 years old, the producers were really forcing her to sound like Toni which is the stupidest thing anyone could ever do to such a distinctly different tone from hers. She only made like 4 solo albums including the wack first one, but the ones that were produced under her ex-husband, Vince, were damn good. I hope she doesn't stop music for good. She has so many good years with that voice ahead she could put into more songs she could share with fans like me, and now you lol. I'm glad you did this song. Great one, Jack.
