    Reading on my phone has been a game changer! I’m so glad I started doing it. I still love to have a hard copy Bible too. Thanks for your videos! I just found you and I’m getting caught up. 😊

    Dear Eva, you always have the greatest enthusiasm about connecting with God and his word, it's contagious . Thank you...

    There’s no bonus points for reading a super hard translation 😂 so true. My go to is the NLT too. I’m reading through the Bible now chronologically.

      Right now I’m reading through chronologically again this year with the @thebiblerecap. We are finishing Proverbs in a couple days and reading Ecclesiastes 1-6 today

    Also, I tend to get distracted in my thinking when I listen to the Bible, and sometimes while I'm reading part of my mind wanders too. Not only do I miss out on comprehension but more importantly I'm convicted of being disrespectful towards God. So, what I've found works best for me is I read along with an audio Bible. That keeps my eyes AND ears busy.

      That's a great way to do it!

    Eva, you are such an encouragement! Thank you!
    Last year, I was reading through the Chronological Bible. At the end of July, I missed a few days. I got so frustrated that I put it down and started shorter reading plans. One was the Gosprl of Mark.
    This year, I started over. I have managed to make up the times I miss.
    I really needed to hear that if you miss days, weeks, or even a month, it's okay. I would add to that that it doesn't all have to be read in 365 days.

      @EvaKubasiak  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      YES! It doesn't have to be read in a year. Take as long as you need. And just keep going!! Proud of you for picking it back up 👏

    A big AMEN to number 9! So many voices out there and the only one we NEED to listen to is the Holy Spirit.

    • @EvaKubasiak
      @EvaKubasiak  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes!! I feel like it can be so easy to fall into the trap of thinking you need the other voices! Thank you!

    The fact that the bible is not in chronological order kinda drives me crazy as a still-sort-of-newish christian trying to understand it! Lol
    I plan to soon purchase a chronological bible and read through it. I think it will help me tremendously.

    • @EvaKubasiak
      @EvaKubasiak  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! It was so hard for me to understand at first. Blue letter Bible has a chronological Bible reading plan that you can use in your normal Bible. Google it and it comes up at the top of search results!
