Her upward runs are IMPOSSIBLE to replicate. No one does upwards runs like Mariah. Case in point: Can't Take That Away climax ("that shines brightly") and We Belong Together live version climax ("We Belong Together").
I am so really amazed that I am not the only one who recognizes her very subtle vocal acrobatics whether it be in the background or in her slick quiet Adlibs and runs. Mariah’s voice is absolutely one that not everyone can appreciate because most people don’t comprehend subtle beauty. They don’t understand how complex her singing is.
