    Just had my first ride today in these braces. They feel better on the bike then just wearing them around. They did not feel bulky at all much better then my old Asterisk. The sock that comes with them worked great, one trick I did is taking my old pair of knee brace socks and stretched them over the top of the braces to keep my pants from catching on the straps. Very happy with them so far!

      El Randum how is it on your inside part of your knee? I have the Eva web braces and they are kinda irritating

    Just an FYI: NO knee brace will be covered by your insurance company unless its sold through a company in your insurance network. Meaning its highly unlikely for your insurance company to reimburse you for this knee brace, regardless of having a doctors prescription and the knee brace being "medically certified". With that said, its probably still a good idea to get them or another type of brace to help protect your knees while riding.

    HI. Can you recommend this knee braces por MTB too? Specially for Downhill? Or do you think they are to heavy or big ? Thanks alot! Great review!

      Great question. I ruptured my patellar tendon and have no acl so after surgery two years later I am still in pain riding. This brace looks like it should help so anyone that can respond weather it's good or bad for mtb please chime in!

    Great video. Just got these and excited to go ride. May I ask how you recommend cleaning them if at all? Thanks in advance!

      To be honest, I've never cleaned a pair of knee braces. The foam doesn't absorb sweat so they don't really stink at all and they don't get muddy being under the pants. But I'm sure you can just spray them off if you want. - Chase

    Can I buy the knee cap cover separately? One of mine broke and I don’t want to junk them just for that one piece.

      We don't sell them but I would contact Leatt directly and ask them. They're a great company and I'm sure they do what they could to help you out. - Chase

    Would you wear these inside or outside an Adventure trouser? I have the Dainese D-Explorer Goretex. Also, will these fit inside boots ok? I typically use Gaerne Balance Oiled which has a Velcro tab above the top buckle

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think they would fit inside your pants decently, but that depends on the fit of your pants as well. As for the balnaced oil, unless you have fairly skinny legs, I think fitment would be difficult. The balanced oil has a very small leg opening.-Chase

    Hey I have a question about these do they cover a lot of your shin or no

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the offer a good amount of shin protection. I'd say they go close to half way down the shin.
