Honestly I never wanted the Spinoceratops in the game but I feel like you could just about play it off as some strange polar ceratopsid that evolved to supplement its diet in absence of substantial vegetation in its habitat. I like it a lot more than I thought I would.

As weird as might be to see a herbivorous-looking animal eat meat, don’t worry it’s common in the real world, there’s been reports of deer, cows, hippos & even horses eating meat the reason for is to make up any missing elements in their diet.
The same can be said for carnivores some Lions have been seen eating grass as well as Crocodiles eating fruit
Saw a video of a white tail deer chasing down a hatchling. Was kinda horrifying actually.
I wouldn't say common, more so it happens occasionally.

I'm dubbing that one rainbow back. For something that's got an otherwise plain coloured body, that sail colour and pattern makes up for it.
Herbivores also have feeding interactions when eating from the same plant it's just a lot rarer to see

I mean it's just a Sinoceratops with extended spines but the colors are cool. That's like if Rexy had slightly longer arms and was passed off as a hybrid with Deinocheirus. It's a birth defect at most

Glad to see that it does eat from the fish feeder and also has the CC skins. I still kinda like the JWA interpretation more since in there SinoSpino snout its a bit longer, making look a bit more spino hybrid.
Really glad they went the extra mile and let it eat fish. I’ll definitely be having a bioluminescent herd of these in a winter park

I dont understand this obssession with calling anyone who criticises the game a "hater".
Have some critical thinking and self respect for god's sake. You payed a hefty price for a companie's product, and continue paying it for every dlc that comes out.
This one includes 4 dinosaurs, 3 of which we already bought in the first game dlc and should have, by all accounts, been included in the base game instead of taken from us and re-sold a second time.
The other feature is adding lux skins, an extremely easy, quick and cheap effect that a teenage modder could accomplish within a week.
Maybe instead of calling someone a hater offer arguments and a point of view instead.
@@loirigudo no but it’s still cool. They didn’t have to add anything new to the game. Animation work does take a lot of effort and we could have got nothing instead. It’s not my favorite dlc by a long shot but there still was work put into it, not sure why y’all are all so personally offended by this dlc and people praising it

I love how the Spinoceratops at the fish feeder acts like a patient dog that just had a slab of meat dropped in its bowl.
It's a beautiful hybrid, I only have one problem with this DLC, I don't like the Stegoceratops designer, I prefer the designer he has in the film and in the concept arts.
His head looks like a Nasutoceratops, very beautiful in my opinion.
I very much agree.thr fact that they didn't include the more canonical appearance is honestly a bit insulting. Their design as cool as it may be to some is just terrible. It's got too much going on to a point it no longer looks like a hybrid, but a mutated freak.

I'm glad to see that it eats fish, I was a little worried that it was just going to be a sino with a sail and some new skins
Spinoceratops as a species doesn't make a whole lot of sense, and it is a strange-looking creature... but I really do love the skins, and the crazy colors you can get on the sail. Definitely a great species for "look what crazy things we can make with hybrids". The great amount of variety on the skins is definitely a part of why I like this hybrid. And it's part Sinoceratops, and we love Sinoceratops
Having it eat fish was a bit of pleasant surprise, plus the shared feeder animation is pretty cute.
A bit of a shame that it's basically a Sinoceratops with a sail, but honestly, I'm not entirely sure how to bring more Spinosaurus in there...? If you did, it would be a very strange-looking dinosaur... Plus it would probably stray too far from the CC version
Woah, it’s an omnivore?! Props to Frontier, they do know how to surprise us! With that *_AND_* the beautiful skins _(especially the lux ones),_ I feel like I’ll be using these guys for a *_LOT_* of park builds.
Wow frontier did the bare minimum and put 3 animals that should have been at launch behind a paywall, they really outdid themselves this time especially with the free update!

Personally this is my new second favorite hybrid (number one being Spinoraptor of course) for similar reasons to said Spinorsptor with that being that it looks like dinosaur that could actually exist, like we could find a ceratopsid that looks similar to this and it wouldn't be too weird.
I know they probably didn't want to go off model with the show plus it would likely have been extra work but they really missed out on the chance to make a facultative biped, could have used the edmontosaurus body base or similar so it could get up on its hind legs to sprint, maybe a longer tail to aid in balance. Like can you imagine this slowly lumbering ceratopsid picking itself up and charging on two legs? Still a pretty solid design, and I really enjoy the meat they're starting to put on their dinos bones!
Now we just have to wait for microceratus and Smilodon to come and then we have all dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures in JWE2
I've always wanted miroceratus and I thought that we'd get it for the 30th anniversary of jurassic park.

It's cool to see the 2nd hybrid that was introduced in Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous. Especially a full grown adult. A interesting combination between the Sinoceratops and the Spinosaurus.
Wonder what other hybrids would we could also get other then the chronically first hybrid Scorpius Rex and the Spinoceratops?

The couple who always fight in the anime Surely, there was other Komi references in Life On Our Planet and Prehistoric Planet.
I like it but I feel the snout can be extended even further (not by much) and add a spino-like crest on it, maybe thin it out a bit to be more sleek and maybe have some spine connect into the frill or bleed closer to it idk. I do like it though, I think people are being too harsh on it because people either want it to look super hybridy or super subtle and you can never really win with such opposing crowds, especially considering what the CC babies look like.
I don't think there's as much as you can do to make it look Spinosaurid compared to the Spinoraptor that should imo have a bit of a crest, since it's in a similar vain of being X dino w/ a sail, just both creatures in that case have a therapod form (making it easier to work with) as opposed to the Sinoceratops.
Spinoceratops works well as a speculative ceratopsian which developed a sail similar to how Ouranosaurus did for roughly the same purposes.
5:58 that skin looks exactly like an Imaginext Triceratops toy I had as a kid. I doubt that was intentional, but it gave me a huge wave of deja vu.
It eats like a snapping turtle: it sticks the beak in the water, waits for a fish to swim by, and snaps shut around the fish. That's why it doesn't move quickly like most piscivores while fishing.
I love it! It is adorable. TBH from watching the show I always thought the Spinosaurus side would come out a bit more in the adult, but I'm really happy with the balance Frontier has here. Looks really good. Plus the colors are fantastic!

I love it, but I do wish they gave it more Spinosaurus elements, like teeth instead of a beak, a longer face, the ability to walk on two legs as well as four, etc. It pretty much looks like a Sinoceratops with a dorsal spine, I still like it though, but they could’ve done more with it.
I noticed something when the tarbo went to bite it didn't because its head got hit by the frill

Tbh i wish that they being a bit more creative with the Spinoceratops design, i actually like ot concept tho, a simple hybrid of a carnivore and a herbivore. But i wish that it have more features from the Spinosaurus other than just the sail, maybe give it a jaws of a carnivore while still keeping other ceratopsians features such as the frill and the horn and the overall body shape, like the Monoceratops from Jurassic World The Game/Alive.

as the sinoceratops was my favorite ceratopsid in the game, I actually quite like spinoceratops.
just pretend the sail is a hump like a bison and it gets far more naturalistic looking
All of the herbivores actually have shared feeding animations too, you're just insanely unlikely to see two herbivores of the same species feed off of the same plant at the same time during normal gameplay! Very underappreciated animation work from Frontier!
really? I don't remember that. earlier today I saw two theri's eating right next to each other and they played the normal animation. if thats real, thats pretty cool!
@@shitanotosaurus It's true, I assure you! I've personally only gotten lucky enough to see it on 3 species so far though. The two herbivores in question have to have the absolute perfect "attachment points" (basically right next to each other) for the animation to play though.

I love it!!!! Big fan of this one!!!! Always wanted to see hybrid herbivores in the movie universe and camp cretaceous did just that! Although I wished to see it in a more s1-3 typeof plot, you can't always have everything! I hope the rest of the canon hybrids such as stegoceratops and ankylodocus are showcased in chaos theory or a movie at some point as well.

Although I think it's unlikely we'll get any other hybrid species pack, I would really like to see more of the "classic" hybrids getting added. Stuff like carnoraptor, tropeogopterus and pachyceratops from Jurassic World The Game (only hybrids that aren't too crazy and that could feasibly be added into JWE2). Carnoraptor in particular I think deserves to be in the game, since there was even a toy made for it much like stegoceratops. But in the end, the creature I think deserves priority overall to get added is my beloved microceratus.
Finally, the Sino-Spino is here! 🎉
I don't care much for CC content, but this is a really cool concept from a spec evo standpoint
As of late, the last 5 dinopacks have been ok but i dont think they need anymore dinosaurs, they need more varients, different sizes like half sized trex, or a quarter sized allosaurus, a half sized velociraptor, larger versions of critonsaurus, dilophosaurus, smaller versions of brachiosaurus, triceratops, stegosaurus, we need more rides like underwater tunnel, submarine ride, river ride, rollercoaster, hot air baloon, we need alot more decorations like different sized fallen logs, different sized poops, egg nests that are different sizes even if there decorations, brushes for kelp seaweed and coral for lagoon, caves and cliffs, watersfalls for the aviary, and to top it off a bunch of animals need to eat from the insect feeder like the small carnivores, gallimimus, struthiomimus, we as fans need a big expansion next or they need to stop the game and lets hope start working on a third one
I love the Spinoceratops, Stegoceratops, Ankylodocus and Spinoraptor more than Indoraptor and co. cause they look more like animals

@@OK-wh5vtdifference between Modders and developers is the developers have to get the ok from universal, create a rig that works, design the creature, make sure everything works, then design skins, modders don’t have to deal with all that
