I know it makes no sense since the Feeding order in the ocean si more of a Free for all, but it sucks only having 1 type of creauture in an exhibit.
@@warlerker it makes sense Mosasaurus and Tylosaurus don't mix with smaller marines and Kronosaurus would also chomp most of them, but the fact that Archelon for example cannot mix with Elasmosaurs and small marines makes zero sense because in reality Archelons also lived alongside Elasmosaurs and other marine reptiles. Ichtyosaurs also lived alongside Plesiosaurs as well yet in this game somehow they hate eachother. only marines that make sense to have to be kept alone are Mosasaurs and Dunkleosteus because these are alpha predators and would kill anything they encounter
I remember seeing the Dunkleosteus for the first time on Sea Monsters: A Walking with Dinosaurs Trilogy when I was like 9. Ever since I saw that episode Dunkleosteus became one of my favourite prehistoric fish.

I saw it on a documentary on youtube somewhere and thought it was quite cool.
It is a yruly impressive and magnificent animal so it deserves the love it is getting atm. It isnsuch a shame all the placoderms died of but alas, that is the cruelty of evolution: some species live and thrive while others just don't make the cut....
If it weren't for the recent paper released on dunki, I'd consider this version of dunkleosteus one of the most accurate animals in the game. Even so, it's still pretty faithful to the real animal despite its huge size. Plus: I appreciate the developers giving dunki the shark-like body it would have in real life. They could've easily given it the tadpole body like in earlier descriptions, but they chose not to and I respect that!
oh happy to see your dunk attacked the Mosa! Mine was just like: "nah, can't be bothered, think I'll just starve..." So I figured they left each other alone.
That's what I'm always worried about during pre-recording aha. I had to wait for ages. Did you find a Mosa social animation or am I crazy and it doesn't exist?
@BestInSlotGaming Mosa and Tylo don't have socials which makes me think there's something coming for aquatics down the line

I think I agree with you on this one: the patterns don't feel quite right, and I think I prefer the un-patterned skins.

Almost makes you wonder if during programing they forgot to add another 0 for its star rating. With how big, powerful, and popular it is, it seems EXTREMELY odd this thing has one of the lowest ratings of any aquatic in the game
Honestly excited for this dlc, does the Dunkleosteus super aggressive to every under water animal? Bc if it is wow I can see this animal needing a second aquarium all on its own.

Ok logic Dunkleosteus can hunt the ichthyosaurs but Mosasaurus, Kronosaurus and Tylosaurus who are ten times bigger can’t. I mean they use before they put small marine creatures in their like boxes,

What would have been really cool is if the marine species could destroy the underwater viewing gallery and gobble up the drowning guests/staff. for technical reasons I can see how that would have been difficult to impliment though.

You know, i really like that reference to Muromi-san in which it bites the other one's tail like how Takuro tries to bite Muromi's tail, but it hurts her. Anyone heard of that anime? An anime about a boy and befriends a mermaid.
How quickly are modders gonna make a Megalodon skin for the Dunkleosteus? I think even Frontier could do it just for fun, the way it feeds from the shark feeder is almost exactly how I imagine a Megalodon would.

You know, someone could make a reskin Megalodon mod. I know one already exists, but not for the Dunk, which is by far the most shark-like creature in JWE 2 yet
