Yes i had to reset my brothers because he downloaded the street collection for xbox one s then it asked him update his system software then when he did and when it was done it kept shutting off itself tell me what to tell him what to do

It deletes everything on the console itself so any online sync data will be kept you just gotta re-sign in

This guy said to leave any questions or comments. It’s been 3 month and he still hasn’t answered your question, but I will. All of your games will always be attached to your account and most of your saves will be in the Xbox cloud as long you never cancel your account. As long you remember your account password, you can always put it on another Xbox.
