And the "rumbling dragon" is the guy with the red shirt and the glasses, eric halloway he did also a version of vahalla calling with miracle of sound and peyton parish and a little fun fact, eric has a deep voice naturally, some of the deeper notes are also the tone of his speaking voice.. if he wants to sing higher he need to kick his head back to even try to get some higher notes, that's how deep his voice is
@@nightthornkvala94132 yep agreed, think as a bass singer he has one of the lowest and deepest rumble of the three, however don't put them together if you don't want to create an earthquake 🤣🤪
I can't believe you haven't heard this til now. Eric Holloway (Thatbassvoice) is as deep as it gets in chest voice, he is much lower naturally than Geoff Castellucci and Tim Foust but they may reach lower notes at times than Eric using extended techniques such as growls, frys and subs. Eric just has unbelievable resonance and bass down to around E1 in chest which is insanely low and sounds so good and natural down there too.
DJ: Y'all just trying to break me with this bass. It hasn't happened yet! Me *knowing what's to come*: *narrator voice* DJ was in fact about to break. 😁
This combination of voices was phenomenal. You had heard Davide Dalmonte before actually, in Casper Fox's cover of Zombie (with Ebucs who was also in this) but I don't think you had heard many of the others...oh, Luke is from The Wellermen...um...yeah, I think that's the only ones you have seen...off the top of my head... Thank you Luke for this song choice. Great one to put in front of DJ. Thank you DJ for this reaction! Absolute joy
Big Brev, the big beard guy who did the operatic stuff in the background, did a Shorts collab with Marwan, as well as met up with Peter and Bobby to do a few Shorts with Lauren Paley as well as Jada. So much freaking talent everywhere!
I've been waiting so long for you to react to this one, but I knew it was just a matter of time before it appeared. I've loved the way you reacted to this one, especially to the part of Eric Holloway (thatbassvoice). Fun fact : him and Geoff made a duet too ;)
You hiding 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The guy with the voice like thunder has already done a duet with Geoff singing this same song. PS: That Bass Voice would leave even Geoff speechless 🤫🤭
I think regarding to the bit in the beginning when bobby just started singing ( paused the video on that point to write this comment) about you talking about musical and can't rember the name...I think you're talking about andrew llyod webber
This was even better than I guessed it would be! Looking forward to seeing you crumble even more under the bass requests you'll be sent after this one!
This came up on my feed and was totally prepared to just fast forward through most of it but your reaction was amazing! Just found Bobby Bass on a short a few months back. That Bass Voice is just shocking to the system. Loved it! Good job!
Absolutely the best thumbnail photo ever for a bass singer reaction. Bobby is probably my favorite bass (sorry, Tim). So smooth and silky. Yum. Have you seen his solo cover of Sound of Silence?
Eric Halloway is a voice I stumbled into when he did a duet with VeryVeryVinny (you gotta check out Vinny's and Bobby's "I See Fire"). Eric's voice is just... LOOOOOW!!! His speaking voice naturally sits down in a level where Geoff Castellucci and Tim Foust have to do subharmonics. It's insane that human vocal chords could be like that. I really hope he and The Bass Gang collab some day.
The first guy you thought was hitting the deepest bass is Danny Brevik. The actual one, the man in the red shirt and glasses that sang the last verse is Eric Holloway. All of these men are stellar. Danny also provided the high counterpoint at the end. He has a tremendous range.
An amazing collaboration. An excellent choice by Luke. I totally agree that the second soloist (must be Davide) has an incredible voice that does not match his physicality but then so do Tomi and Marwan.
Bobby Bass has just released a new MV for I See Fire ft @veryveryvinny - Vinny’s voice is just amazing and their duet of this song is beautiful, please react to it!
Let me inform. You that all bass singers are dragonslayers. When bass singer sings you got to feel that a dragon had awakened and scratches earth's core. In that song we got DRAGONSLAYERS and NOONE WAS PREPARED. Bobby and the others were harmonizing in bass notes in background. Eric Holloway is digging the basement under the basement under the basement under the basement
And now DJ has heard the lowest male voice type plus classical technique to even improve on - the basso profundo voice (only Avi from PTX is one DJ already knows) and the technique that makes you an Oktavist. Basses or baritones like Geoff, Tim Foust and the bass Gang members use vocal fry, subharmonic, inhaling (Tomi P) or just darkening (Colm McGuinness) to lower their voice. None of those are actual ones you get taught in music academies. Oktavists are usually in choirs, in particular Russian Orthodox ones.
@@MikeBass4456That is my view also. but someone told me in comments the teacher of Avi said that to him and he is now called one. Though on wikipedia he is included with Geoff and Tim as basso profundo reach.
Both soloists in this song (Davide Dalmonte and Eric Holloway) have gone all the way down to C#1 in chest, except Davide Dalmonte was only 16-17 when he did it Also, random fact, Eric's solo is not that low for like 70% of it its just his voice makes it sound so low (ofc he does hit F#1s in full chest and a F2-F1 chest slide *easily* but most of it is in the 2nd octave)
technically you have watched eric (that base voice before with Payton parish but that was a full year ago. also the 3 vid on the top row of recommended is a good watch if you haven't done it
DJ was never going to be prepared for Eric Hollaway.... it was a perfect reaction to "That Bass Voice"
It's effortless for Eric because his speaking voice is just as deep. He's the third voice in one of Miracle of Sound's Valhalla Calling.
My thought as well 😂
He is my favorite singer
Understatement.
The Dragon.
12:28
DJ: One of these days you are going to kill me with bass!
Eric Halloway, barely on screen: My time has come.
And the "rumbling dragon" is the guy with the red shirt and the glasses, eric halloway he did also a version of vahalla calling with miracle of sound and peyton parish and a little fun fact, eric has a deep voice naturally, some of the deeper notes are also the tone of his speaking voice.. if he wants to sing higher he need to kick his head back to even try to get some higher notes, that's how deep his voice is
I've said often that Eric Halloway would leave Geoff and Tim's voices in the dust.
@@nightthornkvala94132 yep agreed, think as a bass singer he has one of the lowest and deepest rumble of the three, however don't put them together if you don't want to create an earthquake 🤣🤪
Eric Holloway speaks like that too... 😂
Was about to comment that hahahahaha
At the end, all the dragons were unleashed. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
That was epic! The look on your face when you finally found your super bass was perfect. I had to stop and laugh for a while. 🎶🥰

😁
So the man with the glasses is Eric Holloway if memory serves. He did a video with miracle of sound and Peyton parish singing Valhalla calling.
The deepest voice is Eric Halloway aka thatbassvoice.
DJ should check out some of his VA in gaming soundtracks. I thought Eric went even lower there.
"I sound like Mickey Mouse"
"No don't talk don't talk"
I'm dying 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Eric’s voice is truly beautiful. I’ve heard him speak and I could listen all day! Thanks DJ!

Thank you for reminding me of Zombie! Now I'm going to have to listen to that one again!
Davide is awesome and his twink look made his bass extra unexpected

Ebucs also has a wonderful bass ❤
No one is ever ready for the Dragon Council

I keep getting rock tumbling video suggestions when i see someone react hahaha
dj, your reactions keep amazing me! thanks so much for this one; I knew it would be one you'd like :)
I think you are referring to Eric Hollaway. he did a collaboration with Marwan Ayman. Heat waves (accapella) about 2 years ago
I think regarding to the bit in the beginning when bobby just started singing ( paused the video on that point to write this comment) about you talking about musical and can't rember the name...I think you're talking about andrew llyod webber
I loved how you hid behind the fan instead of fanning yourself. Wow.
I knew there would be a lot of pauses in this one!
You should watch Peter Barber's evaluation of this song. He talks a bit about the different singers performing it.😊
This was even better than I guessed it would be! Looking forward to seeing you crumble even more under the bass requests you'll be sent after this one!
i bet youd love deliver us by sam robson!

Just found Bobby Bass on a short a few months back. That Bass Voice is just shocking to the system.
Loved it! Good job!
We now need to find the bass song that will make you cry!
I'd like to introduce you to Mr Eric Hollaway, part man part dragon.
Thatbassvoice has some incredible stuff in shorts with other singers.
Absolutely the best thumbnail photo ever for a bass singer reaction. Bobby is probably my favorite bass (sorry, Tim). So smooth and silky. Yum. Have you seen his solo cover of Sound of Silence?
Bass boost for the algorithm 😊
Can you please react to Hoist the colours by Malinda, Bobby Bass, lauren paley, and Colm Mcguinness and Drunken Sailor by Malinda and Bobby Bass
"YOU CANT ESCAPE THE POWERFUL BASS" Captain Alex 2024

Luke wanted to break DJ...
not break. just bend a little!
@@lukeboswell3432 yep, Dylan was definitely around the bend after this one
As much as id like friends on the other side from da big man, what i REALLY want is “Be Prepared” sung by him…
Fun fact: Luke Taylor auditioned for the tv show American Idol
Loving your reaction! Eric Hollaway is amazing! Knew you would love him! all the other guys are great too!
“I sound like a Mickey Mouse Character” a quote I wasn’t expecting on my bingo card 🤣
Got bass? Oh, yeah.
8:34 in the background the high pitch in the harmony we hear that pitch is held by Mister Brevik a basso baritone
Dont yalk. Dont talk. Dont talk 😂😂😂😂😂😂.
Yeah that was pretty much my reaction the first time I heard Eric Hollaway (That Bass Voice)
If you don't know the song every pirate knows it of as the calling
Just wait until he finds out that bobby bass big brev and colm did frozen heart
❤️❤️

12:30 Erik.
I see bobby bass Luke.the.voice peyton peyrish then Eric halloway david dalmonte and big brev I don't know the last person in this
Andrew Lloyd Webber
Eric also sings gospel and he can sing really high
