Aye thanks for the reaction. I'm Nelson but i go by ebucs(artist name) btw most of us sang F#1s some subs and obviously eric chest. I think danny / snikel went for F2s at those drops but either way bobby made us do a take with F2s and one with F1s

As a young bass I highly recommend listening to Ivan Rebroff with your whole body. If you do not know what that means, listen to him anyway and your body will figure it out. His high range is NOT falsetto as many people claim. He was Klinefelter and never lost his boy soprano when he grew into his bases profondo.
Eric is really amazing! A low chest voice still beats every subharmonic technique. I guess there are not many people on this earth who can even sing that low. Not to speak of the incredible power.
Yeah, Eric's voice still does that to me. My voice is slightly deeper than yours, Peter, and hearing Eric even after the 100th time still drops my jaw! I can reach F#1 in pure chest voice, but Eric's resonance and power behind it is next level! I think Eric is good to something like C1 or B0 in chest.
I told Eric H that I said to myself when listening to him, "That basso profondo has got talent like no other bass singer ever had. I wonder what Paul Robeson would say about Eric Holloway." He then said that Robeson, if he was still alive now, would say that Eric would sound like him given that they both sound like they're the similar age. And then, I told him that Hoist the Colours is just as good as Ol' Man River and he agreed. I think he totally nailed it when hearing those double low notes. If I can imagine him singing next to Glenn Miller, Vladimir Miller, Geoff Castellucci, and, hate to say this, the great basso Samuel Ramey, the whole universe would have been blown up!
I love watching you listen to Eric. You always have respect for other bass singers, but he makes you react like the higher voiced reactors react to the Bass Gang. I especially loved the melt during Eric's verse.

This should be interesting. Having a trained opera singer critique two country boys who “definitely did not go to college and did some musical theatre and opera training” should be very entertaining to watch and learn from. Peter should take this into consideration.

This is an insane display of human cooperation, imagine you will, 20,000 bc. Hunting and gathering and all of a sudden you hear a great low tone, shaking the bushes and sending shivers down your spine. Now imagine that sound. Progressing to a melody, a song. How utterly terrifying that would be.

I love all these guys so much. I'm a huge fan of bass singers. Nothing makes my soul shake like a beautiful bass voice! Mind you, I can appreciate all gorgeous voices in all ranges (I melt for Dimash and Forestella). I do admit that I prefer male voices over most female voices, but that aside, anyone who is truly talented gets my attention.
I am a traditional Baritone/Tenor 2 but thanks to Bobby, I have been able to work and extend my bass range by a very large degree. Thanks to these types of vocalists. All amazing!

The pirates starting to sing this and spread this is the call to start the storyline of PotC 3. The song is about Davy Jones binding Calypso in an human body. Long story short. Favourite moment? The operatic baryton/tenor sailing above those gorgeous Bass voices. The contrast between the voices.

I do appreciate the solos, they are absolutely amazing, but I ADORE the harmonies in the choruses. Just. That first one gives me chills. Love it.
