@bvnniez kids weren't the ones telling the people behind the Sonic movie the original design. Was horrible and should be changed if the adult sonic fans were silent on it that's the sonic you would have gotten
My son disliked this trailer pretty fast, and my nephew and niece were turned off by the live-action parts. They honestly should've just made this animated.
Brooo, you were cooking here. The Minecraft trailer looks awful and the dude saying its made for kids is coping hard. This is a similar argument that the Jurassic World apologists make. "Its got dinosaurs that go rawr, what else do you want". I HATE this argument. Literally all we want is a film that looks good, is well written, and makes sense. Its literally the bare minimum, and they cant even do that. And they wont do it because idiots like the guy you mentioned will support it no matter what. It makes no sense.
Couldn't agree more, Minecraft is a game that has been enjoyed by millions for 15 years and still going strong. Majority of the people who wanted to see the movie have already been playing Minecraft for a long time or have played it a long time before and those people want to see a good movie that takes those memories back and really makes you appreciate all the details because *you were there*. Hopefully the hate breaks their money glasses and actually makes them focus on it and treat it better.
they will have to. but im not sure it will make it a good movie with a deep story, it will still be a jumanji rip off. but they will have to fix the artwork or go fully animated. or loose hundreds of millions of dollars.

Why not capture, what Minecraft is to the core? If the people who made the movie, played the game, they would "feel" what Minecraft is, all who played it does
The thing that gets me the most is that the world despite looking nice looks fake. Maybe ai or the fact that the live action characters are clearly in front if a green screen. It looks souless. Like i dont believe that a passionate Minecraft artist designed with this world.

We were both like "This looks interesting..." then Jack Black popped up and my nephew saw my face and said, "What? What's wrong?" Jack Black is what's wrong. I have never, not once enjoyed a movie he was in. Seeing him just sucked all the hope I had for this out of me.

I personally don’t have a problem with how it looks and Jack Black is probably the best voice actor for Steve I could think of. I also don’t mind how he is not muscular. I actually think that Steve would most likely be fatter in real life than he would be muscular.
