I'm going to see these guys the end of July. Saw them a couple years ago. They were great. Looking forward to it. This is a great song. Good to hear new music from them.
First Extreme, now Winger. These so called "HAIR BANDS" have just put out 2 amazing songs a week apart that blows away 99.9% of the music that came out in the last 20 years. AMAZING JOB WINGER!!!!!
They were both unfortunate victims of the increasingly-mediocre output from other hair bands and the public ennui with the genre. Extreme released III Sides and Winger released Pull (arguably the best things either band had done to that point) right before the bubble burst. Super happy to see both bands sticking to their creative guns long enough to be appreciated again. All of those musicians are, as other have stated, extremely talented and terrific songwriters.
A lot of sacrifices Kip has made , I believe Kip quit drinking alcohol over a decade ago right around the time Karma was released because of his voice and man he sounds incredible! His voice has never sounded anything BUT good .
Wow, that def resonates with me as both a vocalist and alcoholic. I quit drinking three years ago for many reasons but my voice and performances suffered greatly from drinking. I always loved Kip but now even moreso! And you’re welcome Kip!! Keep it up! And stay METAL!
@@JeremyMWachob same here man I’m also an AA fella myself , very powerful to hear anyone tell you that they quit drugs or alcohol for any reason , it’s the battle of a lifetime it really is , being a guitarist myself my playing greately suffered during my drinking years . I play way better sober and I truly FEEL the music and the connection to the music seems so much deeper when you’re sober . Y 2 cents atleast , winger has always been my fave band along with Van Halen so I’m really looking forward to the new album , I think this may be some of their best work , time will tell !

Luckily, around here in Virginia at least, the stigma of alcoholism and addiction is finally breaking, I also go to AA and know a lot of people who are open about it as well as I am, whereas it used to be a well hidden secret, hence the name lol. It feels great to be able to share it with people and not feel judged. And yes, performances have improved greatly these past few years! Van Halen has always been one of my favorite bands as well! Often more than not I listen to heavier stuff, but I love the more glam side of metal too. But I listen to Proud Desperado at least once a day, I love that it’s on the heavy side! I’m so stoked to hear the new Winger album!

From their music composition to their expert musicianship and stage presence, which is off the chart, they have always rocked and are still rocking the house. And they are doing it with all the original members. I saw them several times in 2022. AMAZING!!! If you haven't seen them in a minute, do yourself a favor and get out and see them live. As a European, I wouldn't call them "underrated", because around here we never forgot about the band and were always very aware of the members' musical chops. And Kip happily confirms this in interviews, which make us happy and proud of course.

I saw them in late 2021 and best show I have ever seen. They kill it each anx every time. I'm not sure about this tune yet though, maybe it will grow on me. I do wish they hadn't hmused autotune on his vocals, or that the engineer knew, how, to use melodyne so you can't tell.

I pleasantly surprised by Winger Seven. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it’s the best hard rock album top to bottom in decades. Lyrically substantial and musically symphonic. Well done gents!

This is kick-ass heavy, melodic rock, with good vocals, an epic chorus, and there's nobody growling or sounding demonic. It's just straight ahead, kick you in the nuts rock. I fucking love it!!
For those of us that grew up in the '80s this is a welcome addition to the catalog. It's so good to see these bands, Winger & Extreme, putting out excellent hard driving rock. And it's not just putting out an album for "nostalgic reasons" either...it's ridiculously good music either. Kudos to the band 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Karma and Better Days Comin are my two favorite Winger albums. I am so extremely looking forward to the new album Winger Seven big time! In my opinion all of their albums are phenomenal! They never deserved the backlash that they got back in the 90's. The talent in this band is outstanding!
Pull is a phenomenal album, but in my opinion their heaviest album is Karma. I love the Heavy side of Winger, but I also love their mid pace songs and slow songs alot. This band in my opinion was amazing since their first album, and they just keep getting better with every album that they do. I am also really looking forward to Winger Seven big time. It has been a long time since Better Days Comin has come out.
This band has always been SO underrated, even back in the 80’s. Still going strong and for those who laugh when I speak of how great they are, kiss my grits and who’s still rockin’ and sounding GREAT??
Somewhere in my closet I have my Nuno, Reb Beach and Richie Kotzen guitar world magazine from back in the day. And I'm so happy that over 30 YEARS later all 3 are putting out kick ass rock music and bringing back guitar solos. This song rocks indeed although I'm really getting back into Battle Stations from Bogus Journey lately.

I was looking last week to see what Nita Strauss is doing. Saw a post from A.C. posted one hour earlier she is with the band again. Few days ago i was searching on Wiki about Winger because Better days coming was a while back. Now i see this one. Somehow i am connected to what's about to happen with my favorite music without even realize it. Can't wait to hear this song again later on some better speakers than my phone. And the whole album. Also beside the song is about the message in the lyrics ! Very important in the times we are living.

Nah, this is heavier and more relevant. The Winger of the late 80's was more for teenage girls. Not knocking it, ...teenage girls need their music heroes too. This is more relevant as far as the purest rock markets are concerned. This is much better than 35 years ago. No disrespect meant ...cheers!!

Kip is the man! This is an underrated, EXTREMELY TALENTED group! Always been a favorite of mine since I discovered them with the release of Winger II. Loved every release since and all of Kips solo albums!

Winger is one of those bands that still sound and play like they did 35 years ago. Not a lot of bands touring now are like that.
Stryper is another band who get better with age its very rare.
Nah, this is heavier and more relevant. The Winger of the late 80's was more for teenage girls. Not knocking it, ...teenage girls need their music heroes too. This is more relevant as far as the purest rock markets are concerned. This is much better than 35 years ago. No disrespect meant ...cheers!!
