Depends on the manager honestly but one year terms are pretty typical. BUT there's absolutely nothing wrong with putting a trial period of let's say 90 days on the agreement to ensure they're actually delivering on what they promise! Glad the video was helpful!

Depends on exactly what you're doing (are you hunting the deals yourself or just responding to inbound inquiries, etc). But typically 15-25% if purely commission based (no retainer)

There are definitely more and more lawyers, especially in the entertainment space, that are familiar with influencer marketing contracts, especially these days! It was pretty hard to find to be honest back in the day when we started! I would Google entertainment lawyers in your area and just call them up and ask if they have anyone that specializes in this space. I really appreciate you sharing the video, that means a lot to me!
I have well over 50k subs and would want to have a manager but it is so difficult because i don't really have youtube friends to refer me. I keep getting requests from mcns but from what i hear, they are not to be trusted 🤣 i keep negotiating my deals and i have a feeling i am lowballing myself, but they pay some bills

I just went past the 3000 subscribers mark. I guess that would make me a micro influencer.
Congrats on hitting 3K Diana! That's a huge accomplishment 😁 so honestly that's one of the reasons I created this channel because there aren't a ton of resources for micro influencers when it comes to negotiation. Most managers tend to work with creators with at least fifty thousand followers because from a business standpoint they also want to ensure the deal sizes are big enough that their cut will be meaningful. I'll definitely keep my eye out if I come across some companies or managers who are focusing on working with micro influencers though. 🙌
@@CreatorWizard I did find an influencer management agency that works with micro influencers when I was doing research for a video. But they primarily work with people on Instagram, which I am not. An agency might be a better place to start as a micro influencer. They may be willing to take on smaller channels because they have bigger ones that can compensate for the bigger prices.
@@CreatorWizard Sidewalker Daily. They are mainly working in the Travel industry. I did not look into it further at the time. That gave me the information I needed for my video.
