I put baby powder on the figure then use plastic food wrap. I keep them underneath the clothes for an extended period of time, 1 year + so far and no problem, just checked last week. Other times, as I have the clothes halfway on, I pulled off the plastic wrap, this works for skimpy clothes such as bikini, shorts or tight pants and you don't want to see wrinkle underneath.
I use talcum powder as well and another good tip is to wash the clothes before you put them on just to wash out any dye that may still be present in the clothing it may reduce or stop the staining of the model.
@@blackopstoys some powder does rub off on the clothes but i also add plastic wrap on top just so it does not dye the skin from the clothe dyes. The powder does not stick to the skin, and easily washes off with water. I have not reapplied it in over a year but you can if you do regular maintenance on your doll.
Remember this for motivation. You can buy a lot of cheap bodies or you can save for and have just one body. One body to rule them all. Phicen/Tb league bodies rule.
Nice video. But with all this wrap the figure dont miss mobility? I mean, you can bend well the articulations for poses? I have a phicen and I love to change their uniforms from time to time and I was looking the way to avoid the sticky. Thanks for the idea.
You bet! Thanks for the question. You can wrap certain parts of the body. So if you need to bend the knees, don't wrap the knees. The pants should still slip on even if you leave some of it unwrapped.
Great tip, but what I need help with is finding blue jeans that will actually fit one of the m33 male figures. Been burned twice so far. They look fantastic, but would only fit a skinny female figure. Any tips there?
You’ll need jeans that come from a bigger set. Have you tried jeans from dam toys. Search this SKU: DAM 78091 12 Delta Force SFOD - Light Blue Denim Like Jeans. Might could work.
¡Hola! Yo lo que uso es una cinta no adhesiva. Es como material de envoltura de saran. Amazon tiene muchas opciones. También puede enrollar una envoltura de saran y cortar tiras de ella. (Google Translated)
Did you find the name of the "tape" you wrapped the body with? Was it "grafting tape" or possibly "floristry film"? My only concern is if there will be any chemical interaction between the tape and the body. That because saw, on TH-cam, instance of interaction between Phicen body and different plastic figure body that was in contact.
Hi Free Lance. It isn't floral tape, I know that for sure, and I remember getting it at a craft store. It's crazy that I can't find it now. And so far, no reaction between the Phicen plastic body and the stretch wrap.
Hi are you sure the chemicals in the plastic wrap won't react with the silicone rubber of the figure and disfigure it over time ? I have see such reactions in the past 😎
I really enjoyed this video. Have you tried putting on lingerie clothing on Phicen figures and what is the best way to remove the dyes from the figure from the clothing??
Yes. I use baby powder after cleaning and drying my figure and it wasn't sticky. If u mean powder for putting on clothes, I wouldn't recommend that because u would get powder on the cloth (obviously) but, it should work still.
You shouldn't have to do all this crap with such expensive bodies. This is why I keep losing patience with Phicen etc and going back to Obitsu hard bodies.
It's silicone. Are u dumb? 🤣 This literally applies to ANY silicone materials. If u don't want them to be sticky, use powder and clean them every now and then- Simple.
yeah definitely... ebay is where i get my stuff. even occasional barbie stuff isn't bad. makes me wish i had the ambition or skill to make the stuff. perhaps collecting 3d models is a better idea?
Can you put male-sized clothes on these female figures? Or is it too oversized? I'm having a heck of a time finding any female clothes for my particular phicen/tbl doll that aren't skimpy lingerie and bodysuits...I want to make a policewoman figure, maybe I'll bite the bullet and try to put something together using male clothing, worst case I just have an extra set of male clothes for a future male figure. 🤷♂
yeah male size clothing is mega oversized.... we're talking jncos on skinnyjeans frame. As others said you can occasionally find custom clothing but all of it is kinda "oversized". you'd probly do best to make your own with glue and shop towels (blue or orange ones from the automotive section) as it's thin and easy to learn on. you can also use balloons ... like the kind for balloon animals. They are stretchy and thin depending on what you're going for. I've also gotten places with lycra on making things but it's all kinda weird if you can't sew.

brilliant! i wish i had done this before the body got stained by the clothes.
You can also use a soft brush and powder it with some corn starch. It makes the skin soft and human like.
Good tip! Thanks. Does the powder come off on the clothes or stick to the skin? And do you have to reapply it?

Action figure bondage at it's best! I'll have to remember this if I can ever afford a Phicen body. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for the tip

Exactly
How to avoid expensive bodies like Phicen becoming sticky is more to the point!
@@Foxiepawstotti Keep them cool and dry 😎
@@gweilojohn8550 and regular cleaning + powder. This "sticky" figure issue is from their own lack of maintenance. Smh.. 🤦🏻♀️

What do you recommend to pad the body for a figure?
Toilet paper 🧻 or foam tape.

Maybe it is shrink wrap tape?
What body type is this?
We're not exactly sure which model number but this is a TBLeague/Phicen Limited body
The thing you use to wrap around leg. What's does it call again?
It's called cellophane or saran wrap. Just a plastic wrap of sorts
Hi are you sure the chemicals in the plastic wrap won't react with the silicone rubber of the figure and disfigure it over time ? I have see such reactions in the past 😎
Wow, very nice trick!! Thanks very much! (👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇧🇷)
Glad it helped!
Hi My Good Sir! how can we prevent seamless body figure like that from tearin off?
Can you use baby powder? I saw another guy doing it for some with a tight bodysuit
Never used baby powder before, your guess is as good as ours
3:50 Anyone else thought "Also Sprach Zarathustra" was about to play?
Haha! Nope, just the fan turning on 😂
What? 🤨
Uh, no one knows what that is
I really enjoyed this video. Have you tried putting on lingerie clothing on Phicen figures and what is the best way to remove the dyes from the figure from the clothing??
Would talc stop sticky feel?
Any powder would have that effect. Ur supposed to use it also... if u don't want the figure being sticky and collecting so much dirt/dust. 🙂
✌️😳✌️🗯Thanks For The Tips
I wonder would baby powder work? It works on rubber cosplay masks

Try talcum

I heard they were silicon material. I don’t like that they pick up dyes from the clothes.
Wrap it up like that for a long time to be affected. Don't expect your reply. thank
I have issues finding decent looking clothing for them.
Hi you can try looking on Amazon, and aliexpress for more realistic clothes but barbie clothes also works
Yeah, I just look on Ebay tbh. I bought 2 outfits from there. 😂 It's very hard to find nice clothing (even on Amazon).

wouldn't be better to use tape inside the pants so you won't have to waste time putting plastic on your figures
The two may be viable options but may also take the same amount of time. Have you tried the tape inside the pants technique?
