      Agreed because of the very little direct heat it just takes soooo long 😩😩😩😩

    Your results came out great. I am interested in knowing what products you used for the roller set. Could you list that in the description or respond to my comment? It's so hard to know what products out there work for our hair, especially to fight humidity after going through all the the effort of styling our hair.

    Great video. What kind of brand is your hooded dryer?

      The brand is HOT TOOLS PROFESSIONALS but I honestly wouldn’t recommend it because the feet don’t stay and I’m consistently fixing it or hold up the dryer.

    Looks great! Did you use any leave in before you put the rollers or just water?

    • @StitchedBySophie
      @StitchedBySophie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Thank you 💕 Just water. I try to use as little product as possible in my hair before straightening so I don’t weigh my hair down 🙂

    do you have to use a dryer?

    • @StitchedBySophie
      @StitchedBySophie  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I sat under the dryer but I've never tried just rollers and no heat. It'll probably take 2 days for my hair to dry if I did lol

    I can’t stand heat you could have skip that first step and blow dried and flat ironed

    • @StitchedBySophie

      Yes I could’ve but the point of my video was to try a roller set on my natural hair.

      @@StitchedBySophiedo you find this healthier for the hair than blow drying. I blow dry and then wave my hair and I still find that's too much heat and my hair ends up dry and it takes all day and tiring. Do you find this to be easier and less heat process? How much passes with straight iron?

      @@altheadawn2531 Hi darling 💕I definitely don’t believe it’s easier it’s such a tedious process but it’s less direct heat. Most of the year I try natural styles without heat and try to stretch my hair other ways.

      @@StitchedBySophiethank you so much for you fast response 😊🙏 I just brought a hair dryer yesterday and it's on the way from Amazon. Maybe I shouldn't of brought it and stick with blow drying. Can you tell me how you get your hair soft without it being dry after blow drying. After I blow dry my hair it's dry out the desert and then when I put leave in conditioner it reverts 😢 It's so confusing lol 😂 Oh okay so you don't really use alot of heat to stretch your hair? That's so cool 😊

      @@altheadawn2531 I use a leave in conditioner the “shea moisture Jamaican castor oil” specifically and stay away from heat as much as I can. Occasionally I’ll straighten it but braid outs and protective styles are my go-to
