After watching the driver "stick the tanks", using a measuring stick to check how much fuel was in the underground tanks, the driver would set up. The hoses were on shelves on the side of the tanker. None of the hoses were ever connected directly to the tank until it was time to deliver the load. Apparently, in California, they have a hose connected to the tank before the truck arrives to deliver the load. As we see here, that can be fairly dangerous!

How they did all of that in one take is insane. All of the work put into filming this scene is incredible. Production, rehearsal and then the final go-around. The BTS video explains the process of all of that, but it's still insane how they got it all done in that one take.
