This really hit home. I’m a tap dancer and my instructor was also a Rockette. She’s been teaching me since I was 2, she’s 78 now and can still dance as if she were 18. Thank you for making this, Casey. May your Nana’s legacy live on forever👯‍♀️

Casey, that movie you did of your Nana was incredibly touching....brought tears to my eyes. What an incredible woman! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful gift with us. My husband will be 92 in a week. He led a very similar life as Nana did....squeezed every drop out of life. Being married for 35 years has given me a ringside seat to an amazingly adventuresome life. People from this era are unlike most of us living today, but u know what? You're one of the few who live life to the fullest, bravo!!!!

It's an incredible gift to have videos or pictures of your grandparents. They tend to pass away or deteriorate sooner than you think and your brain tends to forget too quickly what they were like when they were still well.

You’ve done some amazing movies....brilliant is not a big enough word. But this one...this one despite the slightly lower views is your Academy Award winner. It’s your opus as far as I’m concerned. I think all TH-camrs should make a film about our Nana’s and grandfathers so the world never forgets the grit, the perseverance this generation had. Thank you for the inspiration.

your Nana is wonderful and so hard working. must be where you get it from:) She reminds me a lot of my grandmother who was one of my biggest inspirations. Her husband died when my dad was in high school and she became the first female car dealership owner in the US. As soon as my dad took over she donated all of her time and raised money to build a real hospital in her, then small, town. she'd say things like "pull yourself up by your bootstraps", when my twin died she was 92 and said "we will get through this. we will." She got sick from simple old age, organ failure. but didn't look sick. she told me "Honey I' think I'm dying haha!!" and she got dressed for bed, put her 1930's wedding ring on, and drifted off with us there like any other day. but I miss talking to her. Miss all the wisdom I didn't appreciate as a kid.Time & health are the most valuable things we have.

I googled Louise Neistat and the first result was her obituary. Casey, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your Nana was a magnificent woman with a heart full of love. And by the looks of it, she lived a joyous life and was able to touch so many people. Thank you for sharing your Nana with us! ❤️

Cried. My mom is only 55 but she has had cancer since I was born 30 years ago. She never let it hold her back. She went on to become a CEO, marathon runner, mother of two, just an all around wonderful person... All while undergoing countless chemos and surgeries. She's truly an inspiration. I can't remember a single time I have ever heard her express any negative words, she's always happy, she never talks about her cancer, which doctors said would kill her in 6months when she was first diagnosed. I live in Hawaii and she's in Texas, I miss her everyday. My grandmother was a dance teacher with her own studio for 45 years. This video reminds me of both of those beautiful women in my life.
