That Corolla deserves to see that 500,000 mark. And that Vette would be worth jumping on for around $3500. Good content as always!
Consumer report rating of Corolla at that year was 10 out of 10. I have one that I paid $2500.00 in 2008 that has 35K in CA and paid $250.00 to Asiam mechanic to go over with OEM shock and struct with used $15.00 and used PS parts starter and $45.00 used interior parts. I drove that car for $30K in CA and no issue . I sold that car in CT in 2015 for 2K.
This Corolla would be great buy for either JJ or WB.

The theft F-150 looks to be a fun project as well. You did it once, you can do it again!
As for the Mercury Cougar, I hope you teach the relay thief a lesson & hopefully win it! Can't believe thieves are stealing relays/fuses, locking doors, and stealing keys. The relay theft is what annoys me the most because the car looks to be "fine" at first glance.
That is something that auction center should be dealing with harshly. Have people constantly checking on things and making sure that if someone does that they are permanently banned from that aution facility 😊😊
The Toyota Corolla is definitely worth to fix. It looks like it has the 4A-FE engine installed and those are very well known for their reliability and the high dureability. And they can go over the 500.000 mile mark with ease.

According to a 2000 Mercury Cougar repair manual, relay 11 in the engine compartment is for Engine Management ignition. That car is flawless because of Grandma haha I bet it never missed a oil change
That is just a suckered play when people do that type of stuff. It shouldn't be tolerated in these facilities. Modern cameras allow you to zoom in on any part of the plant. Got to see that first hand at a cold storage facility when the clerk was assisting me in locating a specific trailer. 😊

Im not a fan of C3 corvette's but if you like it, I will enjoy watching you bring it back around. It doesn't deserve to die. It would be cool to see it reborn and back to life.
I don't fit in them too well. Am 6' 1" tall and had sat in one of those. Almost wasn't able to get back out. 😮

Oh man that Corolla hits different.. Was my childhood car that got us from A to B in NY. I don't think I'll ever find that car again unfortunately.. lets just say that corolla means a lot to me like how that Ford tempo ment to you Randy!
Also DX stands for "Deluxe Edition" which is around mid trim, should have the 1.8l 7A-FE over the 1.6 4A-FE and a 4 speed automatic over the 3 speed.

That corvette would be a good option for a full restomod. Full custom interior and slap a modern supercharged LS or LT powertrain under the hood and modern suspension and it would be a bad ass car. Beautiful body style and it looks like it’s in really good shape.
if you come here to see the Corvette, jump to 34:28. I bought an 1981 Corvette from a fellow who only had it for a Month and he told me the catalitic converter was cut off and the thief took the whole exhaust system. The thief cut the exhaust right in the Y, which is going to have a piece welded back on. Its either get a whole new exhaust system or put straight individual pipes all the way back. I hate thieves for destroying a beautiful car.

I had an 05 Malibu Maxx for a really long time. It was a great car, decent power and MPG plus it could fit a 10ft kayak with the hatch closed once you folded the front passenger seat flat. I sold it on to a friend that's still driving it to this day with nearly 200k miles. Not saying you should mess with this one, but it was a super practical and decently reliable car for me. It's one I will definitely remember fondly.
It looks like 80% of the inventory there is totaled. I have never seen a place so dusty, can't see the condition of the paint on the cars. Still fun to watch.

It would be interesting to see you 1. drive that Toyota home & 2. give it a thorough clean & minimal rehab & 3. run it through a different auction. Totally watchable content IMO. Maybe do it with Nick if school doesn't conflict. Assuming it goes for under $750 out the door, of course. The cougar & vette are also interesting content-wise.
Buy the Corolla just to have it. Give it to some kid to drive to school on those Okie winters.

My first car was a 96' XJR had the inline6 4.0l supercharged. Same exact color as that xj6 brought back some memories
I bought a 1982 C3 Corvette with an under hood fire for parts. I wanted the front bumper reinforcement, hood and fender extensions to update my 1975 convertible. They wanted 600 for the reinforcement and 150 each for the 2 fender extensions. I paid 2150 shipped for the car. After getting my $900 in parts I parted out the car for over $8,300.00 and I still have the doors, engine, transmission rear diff assembly exhaust steering linkage gas tank and several other parts. You cant lose money on that Corvette.

Hey Randy I remember a time this year when you said that your on a truck hunt and you want a f150 with a coyote v8 engine. Well the opportunity presented itself in the form of that black f150 xlt. Yes its not a king ranch or a limited or a lariat edition but it has the 5.0 coyote in it. Just saying would be a very fun project to put together.

Imagine that C3 in a sporty bright yellow! Resto mod it to be reliable, brembo brakes, an LS swap, no major performance mods, just a fun simple summer cruiser with a sporty exhaust tone
The corvette and the f150 with no wheels would be a great add to the channel. Get some help by different companies putting the corvette put back together and if you wanted to sell it, throw a paint job on it and make a nice profit when it’s running

"Nobody wants a 1996 Toyota Corolla"...hilarious because I just bought one yesterday! 92,000 km, same old lady has owned it since 1998. She had all the belts changed back in April and has put 141 km on it in the last 2 years. My gas cap looked exactly the same and I have to drain the gas out as I believe its gone bad. Runs but will run alot better once it gets a tune up.
