I love this! Pittsburgher here, and I really love the fact they used the old buildings and highlight its history! They don’t build things like they used to, and I’m so happy to see the building renovated/restored.
This couple is honoring our past while investing in our future. You can feel how much they love what they are doing and the city of Pittsburgh. I hope their business explodes after this. I love all this...every bit.
Anything with Rick sebak is like a warm blanket he's so comforting and he's so wonderful and his style of interviewing and the style he's had over the years even since the beginning with how stuff is filmed is just timeless. Rick sebak you're a national treasure and I was lucky enough to meet you one time at half Price books. I literally still watch our old VHS tapes from when WQED would send us stuff each year. Probably going to watch Christmas memories here soon from 2001 and obviously the WQED Christmas song shows are great.
Very nice. Bicyclists could do with more of these on various trails. I live adjacent to a connector trail which feeds into Florida's Coast-to-Coast-Trail, and mostly prefer to camp on overnight and 3-day trips. But I'm also getting older and by end of the third day, the idea of a warm bed, AC and a full bathroom with all the amenities sounds really good.
Yes, catch the first broadcast episode of Rick's “Lucky to Live in Pittsburgh” on WQED-TV at 8:00/8:30 p.m. ET Thu Dec. 26, 4:00/4:30 p.m. ET Fri Dec. 27, and also 7:30 p.m. ET Tue Dec. 31.
Great documentary about a niche hotel. I'm glad small businesses like this can exist and thrive in our community.

We're honored to be a part of your holiday tradition!
This is the best place and most fun place to stay when riding the GAP to DC. Paul and Marybeth are the best!
What a great place to stay, I shared this on my ebike group on Facebook.
Love to see historical buildings repurposed and "live again"!
Cool building 😎
Such a cool place!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with them when we came up from DC to ride the GAP/C&O Trail.
have wondered about this hotel for a long time - thanks for doing the show
You're welcome! We're glad you enjoyed it.

Awesome!!! 😍
If your pets live there too, I’m in! 😊
Is there a new show that these segments are feeding into?
