The ply tool is not needed. Grip the plastic in your fingers each side and pull up gently. Better to unclip the long plastic pieces same way as remove radio plugs by pushing the center plastic tab. Will make it easier to work on. Only a Philips head screwdriver or 8mm socket to undo the 4 screws.
Ho-ly-shit. literally like 60 second job. on my honda i had to take off all these panels to get to it, about an hour later. Looking this up for a family member's car (Yaris) this looks like i'd be able to knock it over between the half time break at the footy. Thanks supertech :)
Who knows. Do have a tape measure? We don't need to know sizes of radios, as we repair the same one and it goes back in the same hole. That's a very easy solution and guaranteed fix. I would repair it if I was you!

what's the size of this head unit ? .. if i want to replace this with new one
