Hi everyone! In this video I will be showing you how I built a custom portable Bluetooth boombox based on the famous Isetta design by Paul Carmody. With a few tweaks made to the design the speaker turned out great.

Jim Huerta - Genocide
Diviners feat. Contacreast - Tropic Love [NCS Release]
Lensko - Circles [NCS Release]
Thanks for watching!
Donny
It’s amazing how detailed it is and I like this old marshall style enclosure.
Haha, thanks!!
The video filming was nicely done .Just like making a quality Ferrero Roche. FANTASTIC
Wow, thank you!

Thank you so much!
Nice finishing a complete professionally work 👍 good job 👏👏👏👏👏👌
Thank you!! 😄😄
You are amazing and I wish I had your talent
Thank you! It really doesn't take much 😁
I like how in a way it looks like a Marshall amp head.
Thanks! I was actually inspired by Marshall speakers.
This speaker looks very professional. Good work!
Thank you so much! 😄
What an awesome build mate 👏🏻
Excellent work! That looks better than perfect.
Wow, thanks!
The best handmade speaker build on TH-cam, the only guy who pays attention to details
Thank you so much! 😄 Truly means a lot.
You are....... how much this one price?...
Agree, but there is one Russian guy, who also make beautiful speakers.
I want this😍😍😍
Nice.
nice you got your own brand👌👌
Haha, I wish!
Super Nice Build
Thanks!
Beautiful build!! I also want to build something like this but without battery and front look like Marshall speakers.
Thank you!!
excelente acabado...
Nice build bro thank for sharing good luck 👍 I am Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 woodworking youtuber
Thank you so much! Nice to see viewers from so far!
สวยมากๆครับ อยากได้ แบบ ขนาด ตู้ 📏📐🔉🔊 mm. ???📏📐
Perfeito! Parabéns pelo ótimo trabalho.
If your next build also compromises of a subwoofer, could you do a frequency test as well as provide a song with sub bass (30-50hz range)?
I might need to invest into a decent microphone to begin with.
Awesome build! The wobbly drill press really bothered me though 😂
Thank you so much! It still does the job though! 😄
@@DonnyTerek that's what's important 👍
Superb. Work bro.....
Thanks bro!
Beautiful
Thanks!
Nice job 👍
Thanks 👍
Ar tik ne lietuvis tamsta, puikus darbas .
Ačiū!
I like this job so much 👏❤️
Você vende ela?
Hi, you used 3s1p batt pack?
So good
Que legal. Excelente trabalho parabéns
Its amazing, very good bro ur doing good jod.
I also want to do like this but with my old home theater speakers
Can help me plz! how to choose amplifier, bluetooth decoder
Amazing build do you also have a link to a diagram how everything is connected and which parts you use 😁
it is because of your video that I made my first box based on your model 😁
Thank you
Thank you! You can find the link to the other video to see how you can build one yourself, it also has the link to the wiring diagram as well.
Very nice bro
Thanks bro!
Perfect work, Donny! 👍🏼
Thank you so much! 😄
Bro just build something that looks like marshall by the build quality
Muito top seu trabalho, parabéns !!!
How many times did you go «argh, I messed it up» while making this?
None that I can remember!
Donny Terek well, well, well. Look who finally decided to show up
Donny Terek do you have some kind of chart that tells you how to optimize the size of a speaker box or subwoofer based on the speaker-element’s size and wattage?
cooool video! 👍👍👍
Thanks!
You did it again. Great job!
Thank you!
Im not sure it is a good idea to conect 12db/oct crossover to this D class amplifier.
Very good
Perfect job!
Thank you!!
Hello dear friend! I really liked your work. Especially the second option. I want to repeat your Bluetooth column. Your links to components don't all work for me. I live in Russia. Interested in the size of the case, the connection diagram of the crossover
Hello friend! My apologies not being able to provide all links that work in Russia as well. You can find the build plans and wiring diagram in my previous video which uses the same components.
@@DonnyTerek Thank you very much for answering me! I figured it out. I reviewed the video several times. Your work is beautiful! Look what I saw! Bravo!!! I started building components for the replay. Are there enough high frequencies when using the FE 85 speaker?
great build! 👏👏👏
Thank you! 😄
great
Very Good My Friend ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!!
Looks like speaker from Audio Pro company
I have to agree, Audio Pro speakers are one of the best looking for me.
hey, how hard was it to desolder the potentiometers and wire them from further away? im doing similar to a 1940's valve radio and need to space them to suit the original knobs
It is not difficult at all once you get the hang of it. I recommend applyiyng some extra solder to the pins to join them together and then using low heat try to melt it as quickly as you can and gently pull the potentiometer from the other side of the board.
do you have a link of what amp you use thank you
Please check the links in the description.
you are genius would you put the link to boards and diagram .
Linda, por um acaso envia para o Brasil?
Would you sell one of these? I cant fix it myself but I badly want one!!!!!
Hey I would love to, but this one I don't have anymore. I could sell you a different one but even better.
How physically big is it?....the size...
Very nice this one. Is that amp really worth it?
Thank you!
I doubt you could find a better 2.1 Bluetooth amp for that price. Worth every penny!
Neat work bro 💖💖💖
Thanks!
Ah so you live in Massachusetts.
I wish 😄
Plz show you us where you got those components from??
Feel free to check the link to the video where I show how I built the speaker. All links can be found in the video description.
Perfeito
А сколько будет стоить такая работа ?
Or can i buy this boombox? How much? I live in abubdhabi the uae
This one is not for sale but I may have speakers for sale in the near future.
Circuit for the charging of the battery?
All can be found in the video description.
Donny Terek tie mazesni garsiakalbiai skaitosi kaip vidutiniu dazniu ? ir jei taip kaip jie tau gerai skamba ?
Jie skaitos pilno diapazono, atkuria tiek vidutinius tiek aukštus. Man asmeniškai tikrai gerai skamba, o ir konstrukciją korpuso gamybos palengvina.
por favor dinos que componentes usaste, por ejemplo la tarjeta amplificadora , bluetooh, gracias
It looks like Marshall
Only need a mesh grille and a logo! 😃
@@DonnyTerek exactly😄
Quer vender ???
Where we can buy this??
This one is not for sale but I may have speakers for sale in the near future.
How can I plead with you to make me the same subwoofer build with music reactive LED lights? Please please please please please !!!!
I might take such a build into consideration.
Do you sell them?
This one is not for sale but you can reach out to me by email that you can find in my channel's 'About' section if you're interested in a custom speaker.
Please bro deliver in india
what is the intro song?
Portable speaker with Subwoofer =)))))
Geiler scheiß, respect!
Bro, I want
Is it for sale?
This one is not for sale unfortunately.
@@DonnyTerek would like to buy one
What's a difference between this and the other boombox u made?.they look the same on the other video..whats new in here?
This was a custom speaker build which was a bit more complicated than the DIY version.
@@DonnyTerek i still can't see the difference between it..and it sounds the same too..can u describe it a little bit?.
Im sry if im bother you..
Is it this one has leather? The other one just paint?..is that it?
The main difference is the more precise routing of the panels to make the drivers sit flush for a more appealing look. The sound is just the same as the DIY version.
Oh man..i should take notice about that..im too focusing on the driver and sound test ..im sry and thank you for your time. 👍😄
I'm a huge speaker nerd I've seen so many speaker vids here on youtube as well as building several of my own and you really have an eye for detail. VERY well done keep it up!
Thank you so much! 😃 Truly appreciate that.
As an ocd person, this the best diy speaker i've ever seen, detail and perfect!
Thank you so much! Truly means a lot 😃
As an NON-ocd person, this is the best diy speaker i've ever seen as well 😉
@@DonnyTerek d
Very clean and simple.
looks awesome! :) would love to get one of these, to bad it's impossible for me to build one of these
Thank you so much!
Маршал получився😅👌👍👍👍👍
DIY bluetooth speaker videos are flooding youtube. But I can say yours just beats them all hands down. Great attention to detail. It was a real pleasure to watch this video. Thanks.
i couldnt agree more i'd buy one for sure
How did you feed the AMP. I dont see part. Double ac 12 volt or one 12 dc volt. Because I didnt see any transformer
Hold your breath....
I always thought that 2.1 amplifiers could handle the frequencies’ distribution without the need for crossovers.. 🤦♂️
*Diesmal alles richtig gemacht mein Freund.* nur die Schallwand sollte dicker sein, wenn du die LS-chassis ins Gehäuse einläßt/fräst. th-cam.com/video/Ezr8hlyQhSs/w-d-xo.html
- Lautsprecher richtig einbauen - falsch/richtig boombox bluetooth -
Plz show the diagram, speaker watts and more accessories use in this boombox...
Can u run OR put in a dual speaker (2 seperate units) " A speaker bluetooth stereo module? ....i subscribed...nice work brother..how does jbl link up ,up to 100? :O
I build my own speaker too! And your videos are really enjoyable, keep going!
Thank you so much! Would love to see yours!
I do the same
@@DonnyTerek I am wondering if you actually do calculation for your speaker builds. Like the volume of the enclosure, some kinds of tuning for the low frequency, just many things that idk lol.
I am asking because I am planning to build more speakers for my own, and I want to share the process on TH-cam just like you do. It would be awesome for having some advance knowledges of these things!
You could sell this on Amazon for a good 400 dollars
I may try doing that one day!
@@DonnyTerek I'd probably buy one. I'm a fan of your attention to detail and I know it would be very nice.
awesome build. i have been doing several myself. not this fancy though. but one key component im missing is a FM radio to it. cant seem to find any info on how to incorporate that.....
I wonder if this would work with card audio, thinking about building a bluetooth module to install in my car, I don’t need fm/am, small bluetooth module with aux input should be fine
Man can u help me? I need an amp under 100 bucks that can get 200w rms mono or dual bridgeable. Is it possible? What would you recommend?
Hello, do you use a tool to know at which frequency your crossover works ? I can't find any information about it
Have to spend $800.00 or more on tools, to make a $200.00 speaker....and where is the grill ?
Hello sir please Find now one more set Amazing Boombox. So really buy now please share your price your item And delivery 🚚 to India
Hello friend! Sorry but this speaker is sold, if you are interested in any other of my projects, feel free to leave me a message at donnyterek@gmail.com. Thanks!
Can u give me one...om from east indonesia Kupang ntt...i like u portable spiker man
Great job 👍truly inspired.. Me too trying.... Well done from india🙏
Battery back up?
How much mah battery?
Which board is that @5.11
Thank you bro! Glad you liked it.
The battery is 24V 3Ah.
That is a Bluetooth receiver board. It is not necessary for the build since the updated amplifier has the Bluetooth included.
a little late on the ball but ive just found good use of a speaker like this. though im thinking since im in the construction business, id use a 18v makita/milwaukee tool battery to power it instead of 18650 cells.
That is a good idea, I've actually been thinking about that for quite a while now. Might try to build such a speaker soon.
Лучшая колонка ручной работы, что я видел в TH-cam. Шедеврально!
THIS IS A VERY VERY NICE BUILD! Hands down the nicest DIY blue tooth build. Outstanding work!
Wow, thanks! Much appreciated.
Wow! It must feel amazing to create something like this with your own hands! Beautiful to watch you work! Thanks for sharing! 👍🏽👌🏽😊
It truly is rewarding! Thank you so much!
@@DonnyTerek 🙏🏽 And do let me know if you decide to sell one! 😊
@@DonnyTerek if you sell them, I suggest that you sell it unassembled. That way you could send out more much faster. I would mind putting it together.
Very satisfying to watch this build. Amazing job and beautiful finished product.
