Such a relief that French sometimes throws you a bone! Makes things much easier when 'this' and 'that' are both consolidated into 'ça'!
I agree 😃
Ah this makes so much more sense! I had always seen ceci and cela written but not really spoken. Merci beaucoup encore pour votre explication 🙏🙏🙏❤️
Tout le plaisir est pour moi Stephanie 😍

Simple expressions like those ones make us sound more french. 🙂
Exactly :)
thanks for the explanation. I have one question for you..in the video, can we use "as-tu vu cela?" instead of "as-tu vu ceci?" to say "did you see that?"
Yes you can :)
My angel Dylan how are u ? 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
Im really joyful because im watching u righ now may Allah bless u and make ur dreams come in true
Je vais très bien, et toi ça va?
It’s easy to remember when you think par ici o là to differentiate between ceci and cela regarding distance.
That's a great way to explain it, thank you so much!
In my french class my teacher had no make rule saying 'Dont ask why' 😆 because just like you, she said 'its just the way it is, I dont have an answer' lol
Sometimes its just like that that's true 😊
Cest beau
Merci :)
I will not hesitate to support u in every way can person be supported♥️💎♥️
Merci Rania 😍
Another question: what does "y" do in French? I've seen it function differently, and have seen it in the following examples:
Ça y est (in the video)
J'y vais
and of course: y-a-til?
Is there an explanation? Thank you!
Did you watch the lesson about Y? I am pretty sure I explain everything there but I can answer you quickly. Ça y est is an expression. J'y vais - Y replaces a place. Y a-t-il is the question of IL Y A, which means there is, so Y is simply a part of it :)
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane Thank you
Hi Dylanne, if we want to say "None of your business", do we say "ca ne vous regarde pas"? or "Ca ne vous concerns pas"? Merci!
Tu peux dire les deux mais ça ne vous regarde pas est moins formel :)
Hello Dylane! Now i understand when we use ce ceci cela and ca but i have a question. In your example at ca you said ca me plait= i like it. But i have learned that like in french is aimer. can you explain?
Good question! We use Plaire as a way to say that we like something. Ce film m'a plu = I liked this movie.
and what's the difference in aimer?
Hello, I have heard many times that ça is used for "it", but sometimes only il and elle are used for "it." I've also heard people say that there is no word for "it" in French. This leaves me kind of confused. How does this work?
There is no word for it specifically but we use IL and ELLE instead because everything has a gender in French. You should watch the course from lesson 1, all the answers are there :)
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane Understood! I've heard of many statements using the definite articles before the conjugated verb, like "Je l'aime". Do you have a video on this? What is this? Thank you.
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane because everything has a gramattical gender in French this lesson was about indefinite pronouns. ca makes sense doesnt il?
i very much share your dilema, im yet to find the understaning of this problem since your question had been left unanswered.
Salut Dylane, Je voudrais te demander quelque chose, Pouvez-vous nous expliquer comment utiliser le verbe "To Happen" en Francais?
On aimerait lapprendre, Au revoir prends soins de vous.
That's a good one! I add this to the list :D
Marci!
Pas de quoi :)
Please what is the difference between
Cela est une bonne idée
Et
C'est une bonne idée
The main difference is that the second one is correct ;) Cela est is not grammatically correct
What would be the literal translation of ' Ça Va? '
That goes :)

I dont understand why some users ask the question in fluent french when it is obvious that this is a basic level. Nonesense
I have no idea what you are talking about. Asking a question in fluent French but it’s basic level?
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane in the comments section dear. Over here. 😆 have a lovely evening.
lol im never using cela or ceci when there is just ça
You are so beautiful 💞💞
Thank you so much
You are very welcome :)
