I guess "rebuilt" would not be the correct term entirely! You practically build a new bike using some spare parts from the old one! The bike looks awesome! It will be as good as the strength of the welds you placed!
Nice recycling ♻️, the pattern made the detentions the same between the head, the bottom bracket the seat and the distance between the wheels, thats a rabbit hole right there.
Beautiful project and quite an interesting result. I wouldn't ride it much as the fork's angle plus the rear having only chain stays and not being a triangle give me shivers. Both areas would probably bend or even snap after some abuse.
You are absolutely right, this is just a concept, I sacrificed frame rigidity in favor of design. You can make a very rigid frame, and if you use aluminum, the frame will be very light.
It may have the classic "backpedal to brake" thing tho. Although imo its extremely sketchy (usually ride full squish mtb, 5-10ft drops easy, and then i tried a city bike... almost died lol)
@@nikitazaycev8636 Checked the video again and it indeed has a coaster brake... I guess I have to correct myself. I wouldn't ride it because of the same reasons and the fact that there aren't any brakes on the bike I would trust. Good concept bike I'm a road racer I think that bike could be a future if I were you I'd work with a bike company to get one made out of carbon fiber and light components but it is a nice machine
@@CalmoOmlac There's absolutely no reason a similar design couldn't be made to be extremely strong and durable. The major stress points are fairly obvious, so you strengthen them accordingly. I wouldn't use aluminium because of its low fatigue limits, but steel or carbon fibre would be suitable. The frame wouldn't be particularly light or aerodynamic compared to high end traditional designs, but if it's done properly, strength and durability wouldn't be an issue.

I didn't see that in the video and it wasn't showing very well. Maybe I just got too small of a screen on my phone. Lol, that is a sick bike! Wow =]
Hello, thanks for the kind words. The frame weight was about 4 kg, I don’t remember exactly, but in the end it came out a little more, because I had to weld stiffeners inside the rear fork. In general, this is an experiment, the next one I will make from an aluminum alloy. Warmest regards.
Powodzenia!

Well, I wanted to make something out of the box for MYSELF. Agree, because the frame(skeleton) is the basic thing and that one is newly researched designed and built starting from scratch.
