I don't care what Caitlin thinks about anything outside of basketball. She's not a politician or activist. It can only hurt her brand to talk about stuff outside of basketball regardless of her opinions.
You're judged by your friends and enemies. Clark shouldn't pay any attention to the left because they don't like her because she's White. The only thing that will happen to Clark if she speaks out in favor of left wing causes will be it will ruin her standing with her current fanbase.
What is her brand, she doesn't say much. The media says she's so marketable. How can you market anything if you don't speak?

CC texts people - that's why she's on her phone. Can you imagine the messaging she gets? Family, friends, all the contacts. Figuring out what's happening on social media would be a full time job for a staff of 10. So many players have stated they avoid social media cause it's an emotional black hole.

Wow, this is beyond inaccurate. CC has spoken up and had given flowers multiple times but it’s just not the way you think she should. Let’s be honest, you won’t be satisfied until she does things how you do and that’s just a close minded way to think.

Talking about social issues is YOUR job. Not CC's. Not any other player's. And you can recite A'ja's stats all day. But the only stat that matters are people who will to purchase the shoes. Jersey sales are a great measure of that. CC is far and away the biggest seller of jerseys. That's why she has a shoe deal. That should stand on its own. Whether A'ja should also have a shoe and how much marketing money should be behind it, and when it's spent, is an independant discussion. It's not even designed yet, much less produced. Marketing now would be a waste.
