I have read many reviews talking about its audio and 2 way talk audio to be not good. In your video also it was not clear whether the normal audio as well as 2 way voice audio is loud & clear or not due to the disturbance caused by the closeness of the camera and mobile to each other. Can you please update me whether the audio in both recording and 2 way is low or not? Only if you stand within 3-4 feet range then it is better otherwise it is quite low. So please update regarding the same above and also regarding the clarity of far away voice in living room/anywhere in the house. Thank you for making such a video. Waiting for your response.
The inbuilt speaker is of average quality. If you install it outdoors, you won't be able to hear it from more than 5-6 feet distance. Works alright indoors.
Nope, no issues. 2.4A is the max power output. If consumption is 1A, the adapter or power bank will deliver only 1A. This is how any adapter or power bank works.

It has that feature. It will not send the video clip to your phone but it will send a notification and you can watch the clip of that moment after clicking the notification.
The performance of this camera is very bad. Whenever there is any interruption in the power connection, it does not connect again all day long. And most of the time, even on a daily basis, it disconnects itself from Wi-Fi.

I bought 2 IMOU cameras for the first and last time. They make updates every 2 weeks. Until the moment they installed me for the last time without allowing them the last update. Now the sd card doesn't work anymore, it asks me to format it every time I log in and any notification pops up. Although I wrote to them about the problem, I did not receive any reply. The camera is still good, but it's annoying and I gave up on it, the outdoor one. They update until the moment you can't use SD card anymore because they shove their paid online storage area down your throat. And so you can't download any recording from the card to the phone. Better in terms of price, quality and many options are those from Xiaomi.
I loved watching your video, I got a lot of information about this camera, I just have a few questions. The first question that I have is from you whether we keep this camera's wifi separate and we keep the wifi separate elsewhere. We can connect both of them with two different wifi and can we see one camera and three devices in this simultaneously and the third question is can we see the camera in TV, in TV, in smart TV With application 4th question is if I mount this camera on upper roof surface then image will be flip or option in app flip ???
Didn't get the first two questions clearly but if you meant whether you can connect your camera and your viewing device(phone/computer) to different wifi, yes you can. However, you have to connect them to the same wifi during the initial setup. I have not used the TV app and I am not sure whether a TV app is available or not. You can try sideloading the app but I am not sure whether that will work or not. If you mount the camera upside down, you can flip the image from settings.
One big drawback of this camera(and many other form its category) is that you cannot download remotely the local(Micro SD) recording unless you pay for their cloud service. Paying for basic functionality they call it as "Amazing feature".
@@tech_it_easy according to the informations on *their website, you cannot. I've read it many times and on multiple devices of the same category. Its the same story - you cannot remotely download the recordings on the MicroSD except for a paid plan on their cloud. I wish I would be wrong, but I'm not. Maybe is something that you missed or didn't understood from my message.
I checked it with my own camera and it works. Doesn't matter what their website says. I don't claim anything without verifying. Now it's your turn to decide who missed what.

I'm using TP link's Tapo C200 IP camera. It's great camera but a very big drawback is it doesn't have Smart Tracking. 😞 I'm considering of getting this one. But a few things i want to know. 1, Does the app of this camera has option of sharing camera view with other IMOU Life Accounts ? How many people it can be shared with at a particular time ? 2. In tapo c200, i was able to choose at what time i want camera to continuously record on SD card and at which times to record only if there is motion detection. Like, I've currently set it to continously record from 7 am to 9 pm daily, while go on motion detection recording from 9 pm to 7 am. Again daily. Does this camera has such option ? Any user of this camera kindly help me. 😊 😊 😊
Yes. It can do both. Not sure about the max number of users the camera can be shared with. It has "Arm Schedule Setting" from where you can schedule when it will record. If you turn on "General Record Storage" from "Local Storage Setting", it will always record. Turn on "Motion Detection" and turn off "General Record Storage" to record only when motion is detected.

Yes. Can't show everything in a single video otherwise it will be a 30 minutes long video and people will get bored. You can keep it on a flat surface or mount on a wall using double sided tape or the provided mount and screws.

You can use it outdoors but don't put it in a place where rainwater can damage it. I think it consumes about 10gb of storage if 24x7 continuous recording is turned on. After configuring with a Wi-Fi router of hotspot, it can work without any router or hotspot and will record videos in the microsd card. For live viewing, you need to have a router (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) connected to it with internet connection.

Wall mounting is possible and brackets, screws required are included inside the package. SmartPSS software is available and you can setup a local cloud for free. Paid cloud plans are available too.

You can use a USB extension cable but I don't think you will get a 6 metres long USB extension. And, USB extension are expensive compared to power extension boards.

Keep it connected to the wall socket if you want 24x7 monitoring or recording. 16gb should be more than enough for 24 hours of video.

I bought 2 IMOU cameras for the first and last time.
They make updates every 2 weeks.
Until the moment they installed me for the last time without allowing them the last update.
Now the sd card doesn't work anymore, it asks me to format it every time I log in and any notification pops up.
Although I wrote to them about the problem, I did not receive any reply.
The camera is still good, but it's annoying and I gave up on it, the outdoor one.
They update until the moment you can't use SD card anymore because they shove their paid online storage area down your throat.
And so you can't download any recording from the card to the phone.
Better in terms of price, quality and many options are those from Xiaomi.

Not 100% sure but I think it supports only 2.4GHz. It does not need high bandwidth. So, 2.4GHz should be more than enough.

I loved watching your video, I got a lot of information about this camera, I just have a few questions. The first question that I have is from you whether we keep this camera's wifi separate and we keep the wifi separate elsewhere. We can connect both of them with two different wifi and can we see one camera and three devices in this simultaneously and the third question is can we see the camera in TV, in TV, in smart TV With application 4th question is if I mount this camera on upper roof surface then image will be flip or option in app flip ???
Didn't get the first two questions clearly but if you meant whether you can connect your camera and your viewing device(phone/computer) to different wifi, yes you can. However, you have to connect them to the same wifi during the initial setup. I have not used the TV app and I am not sure whether a TV app is available or not. You can try sideloading the app but I am not sure whether that will work or not. If you mount the camera upside down, you can flip the image from settings.

One big drawback of this camera(and many other form its category) is that you cannot download remotely the local(Micro SD) recording unless you pay for their cloud service. Paying for basic functionality they call it as "Amazing feature".
Actually you can do that without the cloud service. I think you might have missed something.
@@tech_it_easy according to the informations on *their website, you cannot. I've read it many times and on multiple devices of the same category. Its the same story - you cannot remotely download the recordings on the MicroSD except for a paid plan on their cloud.

I checked it with my own camera and it works. Doesn't matter what their website says. I don't claim anything without verifying. Now it's your turn to decide who missed what.

Mere mobile hotspot se ye install nahi ho raha hai. It is showing that connection is poor jabki internet speed 2 Mbps hai.

You can hang it upside down. It can handle dust but make sure it is safe from rainwater.

I'm using TP link's Tapo C200 IP camera. It's great camera but a very big drawback is it doesn't have Smart Tracking. 😞
I'm considering of getting this one.
But a few things i want to know.
1, Does the app of this camera has option of sharing camera view with other IMOU Life Accounts ? How many people it can be shared with at a particular time ?
2. In tapo c200, i was able to choose at what time i want camera to continuously record on SD card and at which times to record only if there is motion detection.
Like, I've currently set it to continously record from 7 am to 9 pm daily, while go on motion detection recording from 9 pm to 7 am. Again daily.
Does this camera has such option ?

Yes. It can do both. Not sure about the max number of users the camera can be shared with. It has "Arm Schedule Setting" from where you can schedule when it will record. If you turn on "General Record Storage" from "Local Storage Setting", it will always record. Turn on "Motion Detection" and turn off "General Record Storage" to record only when motion is detected.

Yes. Can't show everything in a single video otherwise it will be a 30 minutes long video and people will get bored. You can keep it on a flat surface or mount on a wall using double sided tape or the provided mount and screws.

You can use it outdoors but don't put it in a place where rainwater can damage it. I think it consumes about 10gb of storage if 24x7 continuous recording is turned on. After configuring with a Wi-Fi router of hotspot, it can work without any router or hotspot and will record videos in the microsd card. For live viewing, you need to have a router (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) connected to it with internet connection.

Wall mounting is possible and brackets, screws required are included inside the package. SmartPSS software is available and you can setup a local cloud for free. Paid cloud plans are available too.

Don't do that. Make or buy a power extension board with long wire instead.
