Hi! I know this comment is old but I'll respond anyway! I was on Gracie's voyage too :) Basically, you have class on the days you're sailing (up to ten days in a row, but that's at the longest point - for our voyage it was crossing the Pacific) and then no class when you stop in each country. The only time you would have class in a country is for your field class (each course you take has one day to do a field trip during the voyage). So almost all the time in country is free time, and classes on the ship never take up the whole day so there's lots of time for relaxing on board too :)

I think one thing looking at these Semester At Sea videos, is to definitely not discredit old fashioned stationary methods. I for one couldn't handle it. I'd die without internet connection. and my handwriting is ATROCIOUS. I think one thing I'd do is I'd bring a portable printer and print stuff out. Like type it up on my computer and then print it out. I'd have to because I just can't hand write. My handwriting is SO BAD.

they definitely accept international students, it just depends on if your school/college can transfer the credits (im pretty sure)
I'm from Europe and planning to go on the voyage so yeah they do accept international students, just check about transferring credits.
