To everyone saying RIP, here's a little insider info from a local. I actually knew him and his dad and worked for his dad at Zaxby's many years ago. He was killed during a home invasion. He broke into his ex-wife's house with a hatchet and was attempting to murder her and her new man. Said new man had a gun and fired at him, killing JWT and accidentally shooting her also. She didn't die though. So yeah, he was a real piece of shit.

Not many drivers get to say they won a race in one of the three series and had a wrestling match at the track. I mean he at least has a spot next to Cale Yarborough and Donnie and Bobby Allison where they had a physical fight during a race.

Yep NASCAR didn’t approve him to run. Jason White was good in trucks and would have won a race had he gotten Townley’s rides
He’s like Pastor Maldonado, he wrecks a lot, but he is pretty speedy sometimes.
And even notched an underdog win in one of his series (Maldonado Spain 2012 F1, Townley LVMS 2015 NCWTS)
To this day, Maldonado’s only win is still Williams’ last F1 win
